They sell stuff in an spray can that can be sprayed in a stream. You still need a ladder to get up to the side of the slide out so you can spray along the top gasket. I';m not sure I will do that again because now when I open and closed the slide it sounds like I'm slowly rubbing a balloon. The talcum powder in a sock on a stick seems to be the best idea.
I was thinking it might be nice to have a thread to refer newbies to that lists what features some people have requested in a FW site.
For us, I like to be near a comfort station. Some people might not want to be near the CS, since there is the foot traffic going by there at all hours.
We also request near the bus stop so my husband won't have to walk too far. Some may prefer to be far from the bus stop so they won't hear it beeping.

Atlanta is just 7 lanes of interstate each way with LOTS of traffic. You need to go through Atlanta between 9:30 am and 11am, or between 2 and 4 pm, or any time after 6:30 pm
If you base the time on normal travel speeds, then add a couple of hours with the trailer
We have a 42' fifth wheel and have been in Premium sites 3x now. Hasn't been terrible and, in fact, this trip was downright the easiest parking job I've ever had.
This site is hugely long. I can park my truck inline with the camper, unhitched, still have room to open the tailgate, and I'm still out of the road. Site #1326.
