LOL! We actually usually go to another Walmart for our grocery trips. But if we were there for a short trip and just needed one thing, we would run to the closest one.

No offense to Christina, but seeing the curmudgeonly type of customer who goes to the closer one, I would definitely drive to the further one!

Have to agree with Lou, the Walmart he is talking about is super fast to get to. We have never once gotten stuck in traffic on the way there or back. 

We noticed today that the stump that was what was left of the lawnmower tree has been removed. No trace of it left whatsoever.

They refurbished the tracks.

I saw that. I would not have been happy to have been in that loop with all those people. It was crazy.

One day? We're going to miss it by about 8 hours. We have to pull out Saturday morning to be home Sunday evening.

Same with us , Todd. Unless Bill decides to add a day or two. The longer we stay the closer we are cutting it to baby time though.

Bummer...

Hi Brianna! So glad to see you posting here. The best part about Fort Fiends is that you will actually get to met a lot of the Fiends in person when you start camping at the Fort.  :heartsmiley:

We love Kona for dinner. We are going again this October! The steak is really good.

The sweet tea was dispensed from a plastic jug with a spout, not from a machine like the sodas and that other tea stuff that you can pick from 4 flavors.  Not sure how they would fix it so that the chip can be read and used.

I was wondering the same thing, but more about the hot tea and hot chocolate. 

We see it once or twice a trip and really enjoy it. If I had to see it every night for months on end, I would probably not like it anymore either. It is as others have said, one of those simple and nostalgic things I hope they never take away.

Any guesses as to if the price is capped at the $18? If you are staying a month at the Fort, and want a mug for the whole time, will that be possible? I wonder, if it is possible, will they still charge the $18 or will it be more?

We hope to be there! Haven't made any reservations yet though.
