  1. We requested 1300 for our next trip as well, with 1200 as our 2nd choice. The only place I wouldn't want to be on the site that is right next to the basketball court. That would drive me crazy. I'd rather be towards the back of the loop.
  2. It was so nice to meet and chat with more Fiends! Dave and Linda's Starcraft friends were super nice as well. Can't wait to do it again!
  3. Great ideas, thanks!!! Thank you! LOL! A messy face!
  4. That's a great idea! I will do that! Yep, it's a !5 passenger Chevy Express 3500. I think it towed really well, but I wasn't driving. LOL I'll have my husband post and let you know. I do love our van, it's tight with car setas though. Thank you!
  5. Thanks! We haven't been able to find the x chocks to fit ours. Hopefully we can. I am thinking of making everyone their own separate checklist of things to do when we arrive and depart. I thought I slept pretty well, but I came home super tired. It is probably becasue like you said, everytime someone moved, I would wake up. Thank you! I hope so!
  6. Thank you!! :heartsmiley: I LOVE the bakery! Are you in MI? Thank you! We will be at the fort this October. :jumpforjoy Thank you! I love this picture too. Breckyn is growing too fast, I don't like it.
  7. Thanks! We will leave the gray open next time. MY husband said that our whell base is too wide for the wheel chocks that go between the tires. Unless anyone knows of some that are wider? Thank! We did! We learned so much from everyone here before we went that it wasn't too much of a learning curve. Hopefully it will stay fairly easy! Thanks! Thanks! She isn't always smiling. LOL Did you see the cheese rat picture?
  8. Thank you! we did have a great time. Baby was no problem at all. Tim Hawkins will be here next Nov. Guess where we will be?? At The Fort! LOL Hopefully we can catch him another time. It was just foot races. No bikes or golf carts. ^-^
  9. During our walk downtown, we had to stop for the obligatory picture with the cheese rat: Ignore the screaming girl in the stroller, she had just woken up Sunday evening, the campgorund had cleared out of all but 2-3 other campers. The kids had a blast having races around the campground. Watched some AFV outside while we had a fire: Our last morning, we went into town to get gas and stop at the bakery for a treat to take home. we then hitched up and went to Bronners CHRISTmas Wonderland: That was it! We had so much fun, we are ready to do it again next weekend (we wish).
  10. After our farm trip, we decided to get take out pizza for dinner from Uno's. REALLY good! Watched a Tim Hawkins DVD in the TT that night with snacks from the bakery at Zehnders. The next day, we decided to hang around the campground until the afternoon. DH took the kids ot the playground which was nice but muddy at the time and we had lunch outside. Relaxing: Our site was at the back of the campground on the corner. We had a huge 'yard' and there was a trail off to teh side which the kids loved exploring.
  11. So, we have had our TT for over 6 months now and this is the first time we have used it! The 9 of us headed out last Friday afternoon for a long weekend at Pine Ridge RV Resort in Frankenmuth, MI. Our 1st challenge came when we found out there was flooding on I75 AND I69 and that they were both closed right where we needed to go through. We decided we would get off right before the flooding and take small highways to the campgorund. We made it there in around 2 hours which is only a few minutes more than it usually takes us not towing anything. This was my first surprise since I thought towing
  12. All of us wear Crocs in WDW. We are taking our 1st ever camping trip this weekend though, and it's going to be in the 60's and rainy.
  13. Any suggestions on what to do with our shoes while camping? I don't want to have them inside the TT, but I don't want to leave them outside to get wet if it rains. I was thinking a plastic box with a lid, but wondering if any of you had anything more creative than that.
  14. Just don't let Disney know we think it's a good deal to camp there. If they find out I'm sure they will double the rates.
  15. Yep, just overnighting. Would like cheap but nice, clean and safe.
  16. I think we have decided that we are not going through Atlanta on our first ttrip down with the TT in Oct. Instead we'll head through Alabama. I am estimating that we will stop our first night just north of Nashville. Anyone have any recommendations for a campground around there?
  17. I am beginning to realize what a great deal FW campsite prices are. All other campgrounds charge a per person fee usually if your party is over 4 people, and there are 9 of us!!!! Adding those extra fees at campgrounds is getting the prices right up there with Disney's prices and they don't have nearly the amount of amenties that FW offers. What is the deal with charging extra? On KOA's websites, they won't even let us book anything. They say our party size is too big for any of their sites. What are we supposed to do? Book another site and not use it just so we can "fit"? :o Ugh, I'm annoyed.
  18. I know site sizes vary. But what do you think the average length of a premium site is? Our TT is 35' 4". We are wondering if we will still be able to fit our 15 passenger van on the site somehow along with the TT and 6 seater GC. Thanks!
  19. Got our cart reserved from Kenny again. A 6 seater for 14 days, over Halloween $715.
  20. Buy a TT! We have stayed at the Fort for years in a cabin and we always loved looping and admiring everyones Rv's, so we finally bought our own to take to the Fort!
