  1. Bram with his birthday cupcakes One day when we were at HS, they were looking for people to for for AFV. It was kind of fun although we were lead to believe that everyone in the fmaily would get a t shirt when really only those over 12 did. Also they ended up shorting us one and we didn't realize until we got out the door. Still, it was a neat experience.
  2. A 1 lb gummy bear from Germany Opening presents. We found these army men at Wal MArt on clearance for $7. They were selling the same thing in WDW for $18!! Notice the cabinet door is off in the background. Unfortunately, there were A LOT of things that were falling apart in the cabin. Hooks in the bathroom, cabinet doors, etc. Our 6 seater rented from Kenny
  3. A few of the boys playing in the cabin A few Food and Wine pics: France: Belgium: Next up was our 3rd birthday of the trip. Our 5th son, Bram was turning 4. His park of choice was EPCOT to ride Spaceship Earth, the pumpkin ride (Living with the Land), Nemo, and the Donald Duck ride (Mexico). We had a birthday button we had got at the front desk at FW but by the time we arrived at EPCOT, his name had smeared so much it wasn't recognizable. So Dh took him to guest relations to get a new one. He got his new button PLUS a $25 gift certificate to spend PLUS a phone call from Goofy. He was sooo e
  4. One morning when we arrived at the MK, my husband and the boys all wanted to ride Astro Orbiter and as we passed the Princess meet and greet up front, I noticed it was only 10 minutes. So, we sent them ahead while Saryn and I went to meet more Princesses. We didn't end up waiting at all. She loved Cinderella and Belle. Sleeping Beauty wasn't as friendly. Belle asking Saryn if she was going to a ball that night, Saryn said yes. LOL All the kids in jail with Zurg
  5. Soon! Going to try to do a little right now I hope. Thanks! Finally someone who thinks we aren't crazy for staying 3 weeks at WDW! Our family thinks we are nuts of course. Thank you, we did have a great time. Thanks! I have more food pics I'll post elsewhere after I finish this. Thank you!
  6. I hadn't even noticed how much their smiles look alike until you said something! I pointed it out to my husband too, LOL. Thanks! It would have been fun to meet up with you guys. Hopefully there will be another time. I can't believe people were driving along the canal! I wonder if they ever got caught? At least the people on the Sea Raycer were reprimanded. Thank you! Thank you, you are too sweet. You know, i was worried about the 7 months pregnant at WDW thing, but it turned out it was much easier than being at home. No cleaning, laundry done much faster with several washing machines to us
  7. Thanks! I am goingto get started again soon. Spent the day gettting apples and pumpkins yesterday. Thanks Lou. :hugs2: Hopefully we can meet up again next spring when we bring the TT. I agree, it seems like they concentrate on all the wrong things. You know, that wasn't even Columbus Day weekend, it was the weekend beofre. not sure why it was so busy. The nice thing about those busy weekend is that it seems like they are for the most part gone by Sunday afternoons. Thanks Cherie. I really want another one of those waffles too! I can't believe it's the first time we had tried them! Of cours
  8. The bus behind our cabin: My 2 youngest boys, Bram and Eoin, waiting for the others to get off Splash Mountain A couple food pics from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments. waffles....soooooo good! The kids in front of pirates
  9. Some observations about The Fort. We did notice the increase in security. Lots driving around on golf carts. The most annoying was when on very dead nights, they had a security gaurd directing traffic in the road going into the back (Trails End, beach, store etc.) are. There was no traffic yet you had to wait each time for them to signal you could proceed in turning the corner. It felt like they were thinking everyone was an idiot, not knowing how to know when to go, when it's safe to cross the road etc. I can see the need after the fireworks on busy nights maybe. But, it was overkill most eve
  10. LOL Thank you! Thanks! You should go over to POP just to walk around sometime. It's a fun place to explore. I agree about Snow White. The Princesses look good from a distance but up close some look creepywith all that make up. Sleeping Beauty always looks the worst IMO. It was great meeting Lou. He was very sweet and great with the kids too. The Fort entrance sign or the WDW entrance sign? Either way, nope no pic this time.
  11. On our daily looping, we saw several Fort Fiends sites, and had the priveledge of meeting 2. We saw Disneylitch's site many times but never caught them there, saw Judy in Texas site a few times but they were not there, and we saw Total Joker's site once but they were not around. We had the priveledge of meeting up with Lou, and also got to briefly meet MicknMin. Here are more Fort pics from our adventures looping: We had a late lunch ADR at Biergarten one afternoon and really loved it.
  12. Thanks, it was a lot of fun. We need a lot of time because it takes us forever to do anything with so many people and naps, meals etc. LOL LOL One of them always sticks there finger in his nose and the troll after the Maelstrom in Norway. Thanks, Saryn absolutely loved meeting the Princesses. It was the highlight of her trip. And we never waited more than 5 minutes to see one (my rule, LOL)! Thanks, it was! Awww, thanks. They did not want a sister at all, but now that they have one they adore her. Thank you so much. Only 9 or so weeks until we see if it will be a new sister or brother. the
  13. Some food pics: The white chocolate bread pudding (REALLY good): Berry cheesecake (really good too): Smores (I didn't try it but my 11 year old said it was really good)
  14. Saryn also got Disney princess dress up clothes and a Disney princess beauty set. Her brothers helped her dress up and do her hair. And long after she was tired of it, they were still there playing. They are going to kill me for this some day, LOL Our dinner that night was at Whispering Canyon. I usually love this place, but the service was so super super slow this time that it was hard to enjoy. We spent half the meal thirsty because she didn't bring our refills and we had a really hard time getting more food. However, Saryn did get a birthday cupcake, and she loved it. The rest of us reall
  15. The kids waiting to see the new Tiki Room, they were not impressed at all All the kids waiting to go on TTA The next day, we checked into the cabins. we were in loop 2600. Our location was nice, the pool was right at the end of the loop. However, right behind our cabin was a bus stop which was noisy at time (the buses beepiing) and kids were always playing behind the cabin while they waited. After unpacking, one of the first things we did was open presents for Saryn's birthday. She really loved her baby Belle doll:
  16. By the end of the meal, she was fine as long as they didn't try to touch her:
  17. We just got back last week form our longest trip yet to the World. 22 nights. Those on the trip were me (Christina), my husband Bill, our 5 boys ages 13, 11, 8, 6, and 4. And our daughter who just turned 2. We celebrated 3 birthdays on the trip. My husband first, followed by our daughters 2nd birthday the day after my husbands, and 9 days later our 5th son turned 4. Also worth mentioning that I was 27-30 weeks pregnant on the trip. First time I have ever done WDW that pregnant. We left Michigan on Sept. 19th and drove almost 12 hours to get to Adairsville, GA for the night. I packed our lunch
  18. We actually got home on Thursday but between sick kids, tons of laundry, and getting ready for a birthday party today, I haven't been online much. I will get a TR started soon!
  19. That would freak me out too! What did the Orlando cart people say they were going to do? I would assume the new cart is Steve's and he now has his own business? Either way it sounds like it is between them. At least you have your golf cart already. Keep us updated on what happens!
  20. I would think the same thing would happen at the values and moderates, that a lot of life jackets would never get brought back. yet they still put them out there day and night. Do they really think of campers as less than the people who stay at values? Most sites cost nearly the same or the same as a value room. Cabins are around $300 a night! Why can't the Fort just take your credit card # and charge you if you don't bring it back? I did discuss it with them and the lady at the bike barn was very rude (and apparently she WAS the manager in that area). I called the front desk about the situa
  21. Why is it that at The Fort you can only get life jackets for the pool from the bike barn and then they take your key to the world card until you bring it back? So, if we want a lifejacket for one of the kids and want to keep it to use it in the evening, we won't get our KTTW card back until the bike barn opens again the next day. If we want a life jacket after they close (always 5pm it seems like), we are out of luck. All the values and moderates have them out by the pools all the time. The deluxes let you get one and keep one for your length of stay, they just take your credit card # in case
