  1. I agree that the salmon and couscous just don't really fit well. My DH loves salmon though so we'll see if he tries it. I'm just glad my tuna sandwhich is still there.
  2. Thank you! That's nice ot know your 25 yr old DS still camps with you. We aren't looking forward to not having our kids along with us on vacation. LOL! Thanks! I am thinking it will be nice if some people get up before others, they can just head outside to get breakfast. Thanks! Thanks! I really love you floor plan as well. It seems like it would work best with the dogs. Thank you, that's what I'm thinking too. Plus, it gives us room outside ot cook and watch tv if there are little ones napping or in bed early. Or teenagers sleeping late.
  3. Thank you! We plan on taking very good care of it, just a lot to learn! Thank you! Thank you, we love it! Thank you so much! Thank you! I really hope so! Thanks!
  4. My Dh does all the vacation cooking too. That is a TV below the cabinet. It swivels so you can watch it in the bunk room or outside. The bathroom has a screen door on it and my thought was, I can just see someone sitting there, going to the bathroom with the screen door. People walking by, waving. :rofl2:
  5. Our furbaby: Darby. She is a 3 year old yellow Lab. Got her form the Humane Society where she was picked up as a stray and had a damaged leg from abuse. We fostered her while they fixed her leg and she is as good as new now. Our other furbaby, Fetch, whom we lost suddenly in April due to cancer we didn't even know he had. He was an 8 year old Lab mix:
  6. Thank you. I did read that thread when it was posted and told my husband about it. We will defintely be getting a really good surge protector before we take it anywhere.
  7. Nope, not looking to get rid of any. Time goes too fast and they grow up so quickly as it is! Thank you for the compliment. They are already loving it just at home!
  8. Thanks for the reasurance. ;D We looked in a lot of 5er's yesterday waiting for our hitch and brakes to be done. There sure are some gorgeous ones! I think when all our kids are gone, we'll get a truck and get ourselves a 5er.
  9. Thanks! It was one of the only TT's with a low weight and everything we wanted. I can't imagine what they'll have when my kids are bigger! Thank you! Thanks! Thank you, I hope so. Aww, thanks about the kids and the camper. Thank you! Thank you! We love that the bunkhouse has a slide out too so the kids can have floor space to play back there. I hope we do ok starting out with one this size. It may have been better to start smaller and move up. But, with soon to be 7 kids, we really needed the room so we went big to start.
  10. Thank you! I love that it doesn't feel crowded even with all 8 of us in it.
  11. Kitchen: Living area: Front bedroom: And that's it! Thanks to all who helped us through the selection process and all the many questions we had. ;D
  12. The boys at the dinette. Daughter was already in bed. : Trying out the bunkhouse: Other side of the bunkhouse: Sofa with queen air mattress:
  13. Finally got around to uploading pictures. Here they are! Outside #1: Outside #2: Outside with awning open and kitchen open: Close up of outside kitchen:
  14. Thanks! I would love to get one of the big collapsable ones. What method do they use at The Fort?
  15. I have a stupid question. What do you do with your garbage at a campground when you take it out? With soon to be 9 of us , we go through a lot of garbage. :-[
  16. It's home!! The kids LOVE it. We only came in the house because it's HOT in there. Pictures later today or tomorrow.
  17. On our way to drop the kids off and my hopefully quick OB appt before we pick up the TT! Please hope for good weather as we bring it home. We have an hour drive and there is a slight chance of storms: THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON. THE GREATEST THREAT IS SOUTH AND EAST OF GRAND RAPIDS DURING THE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON AS THE COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. IF ANY STORMS DO DEVELOP THEY COULD BECOME SEVERE QUICKLY... CONTAINING LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND A ISOLATED TORNADO. STORM MOVEMENT WOULD BE TOWARD THE EAST AROUND 45 MPH
  18. I will look and see if I have van pics on my shutterfly account. I am glad we already had the van or we probably wouldn't have gotten a TT. Too much expense at once to buy both. We are still doing the cabin trip this Spet. DH wants to have time to learn the ins and out of towing it on a few shorter trips first. We have never towed anything besides an open trialer, and have never had any experience with leveling, hooking up and all that stuff. 3 weeks doesn't seem quite long enough to get familiar with it all. And, I need time to stock it up.
  19. We will be towing the TT we are picking up tomorrow with our 15 passenger van. It is a Chevy Express 3500 extended wheel base. We purposely didn't get white when we bought it so it didn't look like a church van. :rofl2: I have looked at sooo many TT's now and in all kinds of weight classes. PM me if you want, with the weight you are thinking you need to stay under and the price range you want to stay in and I'll help you look. It's so much fun!
  20. Thanks, they are sooo excited too. They want to go with us to get it but they would not have fun sitting around for a few hours while they do the brakes and hitch, and while we sign the papers and get the walk through. They will go to grandma and grandpa's and see it as soon as we get it home.
  21. We bought a 2012 Bullet Premier 31BHPR. This is the exact one we are getting: http://www.kitsmillerrv.com/cf/store/productdetailp.cfm?productid=2158
  22. We finally pick up our new TT tomorrow! I am so beyond excited that I will probably hardly sleep tonight. Hopefully I can upload pictures to share tomorrow evening!
