Being new to the daily checking of this board. I'm just reading this. How cool.
We live near the Holmes County Amish and I have eaten at the Welshfield Inn numerous times, my Alma mater is just down the corner.

I have pretty high standards when it comes to Disney. They are experts on creating authentic moments for their guests. I just feel this was all too rushed. I never mind waiting because when it's your turn it's great and minutes seem like hours.
They can't be perfect all the time. I know this and maybe we caught Belle on a bad day. The park was super busy, but Disney usually does a much better job. I felt like she was just going through the motions.

You don't have to be crazy to do the parks on Christmas you just have to get up early and be the first ones to the park.
At least I don't think you have to be crazy.
Well, maybe I am crazy....

I'm not doing the work I should be because these trip reports are just sooooooo darn distracting, but
now that I am committed to actually participating in this Fiend-ishness with my husband I am officially admitting online that I am reading your trip report(and at the same time admitting I am loafing on the job).
I am quite enjoying the fellow large family point of view.
And looking forward to the next installment!

I must admit as the mother of 4 young children I can't even imagine what the day will be like when our kids go on "an adventure" without parental supervision.
Most of our trips are more like your Halloween TR when you watched your nephew in the camper.
I am enjoying living vicariously through this TR and envisioning leisurely setting up the camper with my husband someday without stopping every 3 minutes to fix a skin knee, referee a fight or get someone a drink.

My husband falied to stress how much our children LOVE Innoventions and all the super cool games (or glorified life size commercials). They'll be super bummed when the "garbage truck game" and the "fire house" aren't there anymore because they have been there as long as they can remember. Then there's the talking trash can in the Electric Umbrella, they find things to throw away so they can find the trash can.
