  1. Below is the property wide resort smoking policy. Notice the penalty if the policy is ignored.

Smoking at all Disney Resorts is restricted to designated outdoor smoking areas.  Smoking is prohibited in Guest rooms (including the patio or balcony), restaurants, ballrooms, and all other indoor and outdoor common areas.  A $250 - $500 room recovery fee, plus tax, (based on the resort and room type) will be charged for smoking in Guest rooms, on balconies or on patios.  This fee covers a deep cleaning to include air filter replacement, carpet extraction, and the cleaning or replacing of drapes, comforters, blankets and pillows.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground:  Smoking is permitted at campsites, on cabin porches and in the designated outdoor smoking locations.  Smoking is not permitted inside cabins.

  2. Wow Monique, you've got an emergency room for pets.

I think you have a special situation with 3 big active dogs.

Our little guy is 7 years old this month and has not had an injury. He's in the house 99% of the time. Can only be let out in the pool area and that's a very safe area, unless he falls in. And he's the only pet.

Here is a phone number for what I believe to be the closest Vet to the Fort 407-846-3912. They're Buddy's Vet.

    After hours 407-438-4449

  3. I think MagicBus had an issure with his MH over there and said he wouldn't go back.

    Good memory Lorna.

Nice place, but like too many govt. run parks, it's not geared for the larger class As. I think I can handle a big rig as well as anyone and I had a heck of a time getting our 40 footer in without scratching it on the palm trees that line the site. Plus if you've spent all that money on a class A, you want to make full use of it. With no sewer hookup or cable, it takes away from the experience. Too bad, we liked it other than that. It needs to be upgraded for the 40 foot plus newer rigs.

  4. We will be there until March 5th and hopefully we'll be able to catch the new show!

They don't give a start date for the new show other than March, but the "Playhouse Disney Live on Stage" refurbishment project is scheduled not to be completed until March 5th. Schedules are fluid so who knows. There is always a chance that the new show could start earlier.

  5. I was wondering the same thing and also did the Google search!  I am sure glad I located the new FW Forum!  Have most of the other members located this forum yet?

Welcome, for whatever reason there is a handful of Fiends that have not joined us, but the vast majority are here now and then some.
