TCD knows about this site and says he will be along when he's ready.
TCD, if you're lurking, then you know that I know, exactly where you hang out during the day. You better get your UF butt over here soon or I'm sending my friend Guido over there, put you in a headlock and drag you over here. Let's avoid that ugly scene if we can.

did you make them an offer.
I don't think they would ever sell it.
I'm guessing it would sell for about 40K.
I wouldn't have a problem with it, but my wife thinks a 40' MH with 4 slides is small.

We will be at the Fort March 17th in a big Green bus with a big green sign! I hope to get to meet some of you.
i am going to go look for some snarky comments now.
I'll look for the green bus, but if the green sign is what I think it is, I'll bring some purple paint and a snarky beak.

It's about time. We'll call back the search party.

I'd like to see that list when you find it.

Wow, 20 park days, I couldn't do that, burnout city.
For me, one day per park. Two days at the parks, day off, two more days, and that's it, done. Four or five park days per visit would be enough for me.
One day is plenty for DTD.
I don't park hop. Not worth the effort.
All this is irelevent due to my situation.

Is it sad that as an adult I love Barnstormer.
Not at all. I have more kids toys now than I did when I was a kid.

If you go to the "Around the World & Beyond" thread, you'll see the latest official advisory regarding Toontown.
Barnstormer will get a bright new look, featuring Goofy as The Great Goofini.

The problem with the animation studio is that it is a pale shadow of it's former self. When there were real animators there working on a picture, that was fun to watch!! I saw them working on Mulan AND Lilo and Stitch.
The story I got was that when computer generated animation, Pixar, became the state of the art, they fired most of the conventional animators at WDW. There was no need for them. Even today, if Disney produces what appears to be the old style animation movie, it's done mostly with computers. The days of artists drawing and painting are gone as far as big budget full length animation movies are concerned. Computers are more efficient and produce a better visual product.
In my profession, engineering, the exact same thing happened even earlier. It went from sitting at a drawing board with pencil and paper to using a mouse, keyboard and CRT screen. I accepted the change and jumped on it with both feet, but a lot of guys didn't.

If you go to FW FAQ, there is a chart with the 2011 rates.

Saw a little bit of it between the clouds, oh well.

An advisory appeared today saying that the Town Square Exposition Hall is being transformed into Town Square Theater. It will be an immersive environment for Mickey Mouse to greet guests at the MK. When the building re-opens this spring, guests will be able to use a first-of-its-kind FASTPASS for this new meet and greet location.
I wonder if this is part of the "New Guest Experience"?
I thought the comment "guests will be able to use a first-of-it's-kind FASTPASS" was interesting. Stay tuned.

See post #1 for latest update in red.

I'll be watching if the clouds don't get in the way.

Hey, stop your belly aching. How is Disney supposed to pay me my huge salary if they don't charge you outrages prices.
Think of it as helping out a fellow Fiend.
Now see, if this was posted on the other board, I'd have to say that I was just kidding so that some no nothing moderator wouldn't wag her finger at me and tell me I was being disrespectful.

As long as there is availability CMs get 50% off the regular room rate.
I don't know if there is a restriction on how long a stay a CM can book and still get that discount though.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, Lego is all closed off at DTD.
See post #1 for additional info.

This chart may be a little bit more user friendly.

It is a GMC?
Yes

since the WDW salaries are notoriously low.
Are you referring to the hourly pay or just in general?

Found this beauty at the International RV Park in Daytona during the Daytona 500. Photos don't do it justice. The custom interior and exterior were first class.

Got a question? Ask the bus driver!"
Oh ya, bus drivers are a reliable source of info, NOT.
Don't believe anything I write unless I got it directly from the Mouse.
Best way to spend the day at DHS

Oh no, I have to disagree with my Lil Lisa.
DHS is my favorite park. Thrill rides, there isn't a thrill ride I won't do.
TOT was better before they switched from the lap bar to the seat belts. If you didn't bring the lap bar all the way down, you would float off the seat when the elevator went down. Now the seat belt keep you on the seat, bummer.
