Please don't drive down the wrong way in the loop
Donnie....
We are guilty of this BUT.......we found out after driving through the WHOLE loop after registering that our cabin was the LAST cabin in the loop. You could literally see it when you turned onto Willow Way. After the first time, we simply looked for any coming traffic and zipped over to the cabin albeit going the wrong way. I just couldn't see driving all the way around everytime. Hope that's excusable in this case. :jumpforjoy

Horror story number 2 - I was in my favorite site 116. I have had problems with people parking in my site, when my truck was gone, to go to the store, TE, etc.. One time I had a Fort cabin guest, who parked his car in my drive & went to MK for the day (later found out). I put my vehicle in the overflow lot, hoping he would return soon. When we came back for our after lunch break, the car was still there. I called the front desk, the Disney PoPo came out, I advised them the car had been there since 7:30 that morning. They attempted to track down the owner with the FW dashboard card, but no luck. They then called a tow truck & had it moved. I moved my truck back & we returned to the park. We returned from MK about 11:00 PM and went to bed. After midnight, the owner of the car began banging on the door. As expected, he & his wife, were rude, loud, cursing me for calling the Disney police, etc. I shut the door, called the front desk, & several Disney police & Orange County showed up. The man continued to show his behind, so he got a one way trip downtown, while the wife was escorted back to the cabin and they stood by while she packed to leave.
What IDIOTS!! This would be like me coming home and parking in my neighbor's yard and walking over to my house. We were told when we checked in that there was a 10 minute limit (I think) for parking at the store and that we couldn't ride around in our vehicle. Isn't everyone? At the very least, it's in the information that you get when you register. People need to READ! They don't give it to you just to have something to do. What kind of moron would think it's ok to park in someone else's parking area? You were too kind. I would have called the Disney PoPo right away. :rofl2:

So funny - respect bump for your time and effort.

Hi! Thought I would give this a try after being inspired by TCD, Lisa and so many others.
It's my first attempt, so keep that in mind if it seems a little "off" from the others.....
Ok, here we are just entering the fort:
:rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: Can't wait to show my hubby this one.

We'll be there Dec. 9-15. Can't wait! :rofl2:

Well if anything is going to get TCD over here, this thread will. He loves making fun of my Dole Whip skills. :rofl2:
Or lack thereof.
ETA: My first Dole Whip 2010. My skills weren't too much better than Dave's, but in my defense there was a problem with the machine at the Poly. That's my story.....
That's definitely not a smile on the little one's face.......Did he not get one? :rofl2:

Top with half of crumbled bacon, then onion, then cheese - evenly over bread.
Repeat layer of bread, onion & cheese.
Combine eggs, milk, salt & pepper, beat until mixed & pour over bread.
Cover with foil and store in fridge overnight.
Uncover in the a.m. and let stand at room temp until oven is preheated.
Preheat oven to 350 and bake casserole for 45-55 minutes.
If you have extra swiss, sprinkle it on for last 5 minutes for a nice golden brown top.

That's all 12 pages of recipes from the Camping Board.
And here I was thinking I was the copy and paste queen..... :parrot:
-
Yoda Girl copied and pasted every one I saved to a Word Document plus a few that I didn't. Guess I should have read through all the older posts first. That'll teach me. :parrot:
-
Can someone who is not banned just go copy all the recipes off the dis thread and post them here? Really I don't know It might be a real pain in the a$$ to do something like that. I'm just asking
I volunteer! Let me delete my cookies and see if I can get on there. I don't work so I have time to spare really. :parrot: If anyone else has stuff I can copy and paste for them, let me know.

I'm an obsessive planner too and do things like you. We've been buying Disney gifts cards for this trip. We had some money saved and had to use it to replace our hot water heater. While it was good we had the extra $$ put back, I hated getting into my Disney $$. At least with the gifts cards, we can't use them for anything else. :parrot:
I ordered the gifts cards from Disneyshopping.com and there was no charge for the shipping.

Here's the link to my review of Fort Wilderness. It's on Trip Advisor.
Fort Wilderness reviews are to be placed here too, right? If not, just move me where I need to be. :flush2:

Here's my first attempt at a trip report....I never realized how time consuming they could be...now I really appreciate all the work everybody has done in the past!!
Would you look at all those curls?? My Nikki had curls like that (got 'em from her dad) when she was that age. Such a lovely little fella. Love the trip report too! :flush2:

I never travel without the entire contents of my house. :worship:
That's what Warren (hubby) says about my packing style. :-[

Q tips
Tongs
Spatula
Lighter fluid
Ticket
Water bottle
Book beg
Kokanee
Bottle opener
Cigars
Lighter
Cutter
+/- to your liking.
We have a list saved on our computer. We each check off so we only forget 10% now compared to our disastrous first trip.
Kokanee=beer?? Guess I could have looked it up myself......... :worship:

Even though Halloween is my favorite holiday here at home, I voted Christmas because it's the only time I've been to the Fort plus we all loved the Osborne lights at DHS :worship:

Sorry for the correction, O0 but that's Roanoke Rapids, NC. We're 45 minutes from there. :doublebeer:
