Currently on stop 2 of an impromptu monorail lounge tour. Started with a trip to GF to check out Christmas decorations and we dropped into the bar at Citricos. Then to Contemporary and bar at The Wave. Currently killing time in some comfy chairs before we try getting up to the California Grill lounge for some sushi and fireworks.

Along the way I've picked up the lounge food menus and found that you can order off the full restaurant menus as well! Will share all when I get home and sort through my bazillion photos. :)

Did you ADR for California Grill? Or just trying to walk up?

Spent the day visiting with family from Plant City, including a trip over to Tarpon Springs for some excellent seafood and Greek food. My fridge is now full of macaroons and baklava. :)

Love tarpon springs. There's a great restaraunt across the street from the "aquarium". They have the best lemon chicken soup.

Beautiful and they turned them on, on my birthday. Can't wait to see all the lights this Christmas.

I thought it was awful too. It really took the magic out of the Magic Kingdom.

Glad I missed it. I don't know how we did but I'm glad I did.

No that is WDW, Florida. They turned the castle into a birthday cake for the 25th birthday. It was that way from Sept 96 to about Feb 98.

Thanks. We must not have gone those 18 months? I do recognize the sea serpent now that I look at it again. And I don't think I like the birthday cake castle. Maybe it looked better in person.

It would be nice to go back in time, to when pranks were nothing more than pranks. Unfortunately the nefarious nature of some of society's underbelly prevents us from trusting the unknown.

A fear of swift and blinding retribution used to help keep some of the scum at bey. Our cow towing government and litigious society have muted that fear.

This reminds me of the first time I took my DD down Main Street and she saw the castle for the first time. Which is one of my favorite memories from Disney.
