  1. Since this is going to be our first time ever RV camping I've really been trying to find the perfect RV site. I have reading a lot of post about sites and i don't understand why some people want to close to the comfort stations. It's seems to me that if your close to, next to the comfort station you'd have a lot of people traffic. I feel like I'm missing something because why would you want to be close to the bathroom when you have one in your RV?

  2. I agree with Jen. The 200 loop is one atop the other. You have a ressie for a premium & if it's in your budget, keep it. As far as which loop is better or which site is better, that's subjective to what your preference is. If budget is a concern, try to downgrade to a full hook-up and ask for either 1700 or 1600 loops.

Yes I'd like to save some money but a premium is in the budget. Any recommendations?

  3. Quick back ground on us. Me, DW, and DD8 have never been RV camping and are renting Donnie's 5th wheel and golf cart. Judy made our reservation for us in a premium site for December 28-January 5. After much consideration I think we would like 200 loop and Judy said she would try to change are rez. Well instead of asking what is your favorite site I want to know which site to stay away from. It's so hard to decide so I'm going to let Disney magic pick my site but I want to avoid a not so good site. Thanks

  4. It actually will remove hail dings. However, you do have to use a blow dryer and you have to get the metal very very hot. Then when you place the dry ice on the heated metal it contracts and "pop" the dent out. Now before you try this keep in mind it only works on very small, non creased dings. And when I say small ding I mean small dings. When I tried this I thought I was going to pocket the money my insurance company gave me but the vast majority of hail dents remained. It was a waste of time and money because it only took out about 5 or 6 very small dents that where pretty much to small to see. Maybe I was doing it wrong or it's more hype then fact.

  5. Disney doesn't kid, everything is real there.

It's actually $7.90 not $7.25, but that's the minimum hourly starting pay, with $10.35 being the max.

I'm certain that they will or have filled that position.

Come on, picking wheat, wheat is picked isn't it, under the hot sun in Oklahoma, is it still a dust bowl, or driving a horse drawn wagon filled with happy people that paid through the nose to ride in it at WDW?

It's understandable that you have to pay more in Oklahoma. Doesn't it have a history of having to bribe people with free land just to come live there?

If Oklahoma is so great, why is it just OK?

Well maybe back in the day when you where young, circa 1890, they picked wheat. Now even in Oklahoma we have modern machinery. I'm sure you probably remember the dust bowl but no this to had passed. And no we had to fight for our land during the land run. At least we didn't fall for the mosquito infested swamp land back in the day. Also not only is Oklahoma OK, it's Great! Can you say Oklahoma Sooners football, Oklahoma Thunder. Also in 2008, Oklahoma was the only state in the union that Barack Obama did not win a single county in nor a single electoral vote. So thanks Florida for helping elect him.

All that being said please come to Oklahoma and I'll personally make sure you have a wonderful time. Was that snarky enough for a newbie?

Can't wait to meet you Lou. See you this Christmas. By the way how do I get a job as a boat operator when I retire?

  6. Yes there is a chuck wagon snack bar at the campfire. You can purchase drinks, popcorn, hot dogs, smores kits, etc. Not sure which Meadows snack bar they are referring to. There is one in the swimming pool area that is open for a few hours each day.

There is a small chuckwagon concession stand behind the movie area next to the broadcast building that is open selling soft drinks, beer, snacks, hot dogs, and S'more fixins during the campfire movies.

The Meadows Snack Bar has been open consistently year round from 1pm - 5pm since the pool remodel. Although, I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing if the weather is bad enough for the pool to close, the Meadow snack bar closes also. (Although for some reason 1pm doesn't sound right, maybe it opens at 11am).

let me get this straight. Chuck wagon is open during the movies only? Any body have a picture of the menu from the two snack bars?

  7. Ok another dumb newbie question. I was web surfing about the Fort and found a site that said there is a "chuck wagon snack bar" by the campfire but can not find any other info on it. Is it there or was it a thing of the past? Also on Disney says that meadows snack bar is only open seasonally. Will it be open for our December 28-Jan 5th trip? Im sure it will be seeing that is Christmas time.

    thanks

  8. O'Hana is awesome. The food is great and interactive show is fun and the kids love the Hulu dancing and coconut broom race. That being said if you want a quite romantic dinner for two you might want to go somewhere else. But if your bring the kids and want a great meal with more food than you can possibly eat go to O'Hana. It's one of our top five WDW restaraunts.
