  1. I thought I would post this over here too. I transferred my January Dream cruise to Rhonda from Disney.

You may have noticed that I am not the most at ease person doing computer stuff. She made the whole process simple and pleasant.

We also had an opportunity to talk to on the phone today. We had a very nice chat and now I can't wait to meet her in person. :rofl2:

  2. First breathe, read the instructions, study your rotary cutting ruler so that you are familiar with it, breathe again, then start cutting, just don't get distracted.  Make sure to allow yourself enough time and few distractions.  And you don't have to get it done all in one day.  It's really not that difficult once you start doing it.

Yes, I've made a few mistakes but I learned that I don't pay enough attention sometimes.  You might make a few mistakes but remember it's just a quilt and the mistakes are what make them special.  I always say I don't make perfect quilts but I do make them with lots of love.  I also wait to see how long it is before someone notices the mistake..... gives me a laugh!

That is so true. The church ladies that taught me to quilt had a motto " Only God can make a perfect quilt ",  and oh boy I am not  god. But I have made over 40 imperfect quilts. :rofl2:

  3. Ok guys,

We are going back to the Fort in November. Haven't been there since  before the pool renovations. Anything else new that I should check out. Any loops better than others, any that I should avoid like the plague ;D

We have a 36 ft. Windsport and will be travelling with 5 chihuahuas. Our last trip we were in the 800 loop, which is funny because it was also the first loop we were on back in 1989.

I am thinking a premium loop again because I like the extra room. TIA

  4. Thanks Roz,

I won't be able to book a cruise right now, we are leaving next month on a Carnival cruise. I will keep you in mind for the next onethough.

I have another question, I have the Disney Dream booked for next January. Booked it through Disney, is there an advantage to moving it to a travel agent?

  5. Thanks,

NCL actually sounds right up our alley. My husband hates to dress up and I am not really into gourmet, except escargot, I tried that for the first time on the Wonder, yum.

For us cruising is all about relaxing, so an afternoon in the sports bar would be at the top our list :partytwo:

    Thanks again,

  6. I like the sailing part too, it's the drive down there that I don't like.  It is 1250 miles for us just to get to  WDW, then we have to get in the car and drive another 4 hours. Ughh

I keep checking airfare hoping I can get a price my DH can't refuse. So far no luck. :raspberry: It could be free and he would probably say no.

  7. Thanks Roz,

That's what I thought. We went that way last November, it wasn't bad just a little boring and then you have to pay for it too

Not a fan of leaving out of Miami, cause we have a long drive as it is, but I got outvoted  My husband won't fly, how sad is that.

    Thanks again,

  8. Hi guys, we are going on a cruise next month. Carnival out of Miami. Is there a way to get there that doesn't have all the tolls. Or do you think the turnpike is the best way to go.

We will be staying one night at ASMo, not the Fort, but you can't have everything :rofl2:

    Thanks,
