Prices usually go up on thursdays as thats most peoples payday and stay high for the weekend around here. Oh and go even higher for the long weekends.

That sucks. That beats our $4.65 a gallon up here. WoW. We are usually 5 to 10% higher than anywhere in the states. This is not a good sign.

The next time they ask you to do a survey. Simply reply sure the day you either pay my phone bill or get a 800 number so im not charged for the phone call.

We enjoyed our dinner there last trip but i would not use 2 dining per person for it.

My wife always calls them. She asked them why no 800 number. They told her because people used to call when they had one so there kid could talk to Mickey Mouse and it was tying up the phonelines. Those people don't call if there is a charge. Anyways as I said my wife calls and has all kinds of questions for them and she always seems to be able to get them to find better deals. She then calls back monthly to see if there is any discounts they can apply to our trip. The last trip they ended up finding $700 in savings. That paid for our gas. We tried caa and they couldnt get us everything we wan

I'm just trying to do my best to get the word out there. I figure the more Fort Wilderness along with Disney World get out there with the Fort Fiend logo the better. lol

Why is this fort forum best to you? What can be done to make it better? What about Disney World makes you come to this site more than others? Details please. We want others to see why this could be one of if not the best resource for all things Disney. I saw on another post that is might help if we stop using short form for FW and DW. I agree. We plan on doing the same amount of camping. The only difference is longer time frame for the parks farther away. Instead of driving 3 plus hours and only camping for a week. We now stay 2 weeks. I figure instead of paying for 2 one week trips in fuel costs. Might as well stay 2 weeks at one park we really enjoy. The fuel we saved by only going to the one park can help offset the costs of the longer trip. Long weekends we will keep it closer to home. If the prices keep going up we might find a perminate spot closer to home and drive the better fuel economy car to it everyweekend instead.
