I need to know if I understand this.   We have the official fabulous GG on Saturday the 29th at Jen's, and then we have the ever-popular infamous and entertaining birthday party on the 30th at Lorna's.  Then many will gather together on the 31st for TOT.

One other fiend and I frequently 'fight' over the other being on 'our' site 1601.   We both really like the location & if you are doing a full-hook-up it is great.  But I would suggest getting a premium site if you are able.  The have concrete pads where the full hook ups have a good portion of the site as coquina sand.

We will be there also, July 2-9.   I am requesting 618.

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but obviously those that know me know it's been a God-awful couple of weeks with a terrible conclusion this week, so I really don't want to go.  If I don't participate please don't be offended.

My family likes to stay at the KOA. A bit outside of town, but a pleasant drive. The campground is awesome, clean, friendly, pool and putt putt, etc.

wow, what time did you leave home? what route did you take? do you drive a)below speed limit, b)the speed limit, c)speeding? I'm trying to figure out the real time I should plan for.

Stone Mountain is good. You would probably also like Indian Springs State Park in Jackson.

I get there Wednesday night. I do not plan on Dollywood (not that it matters if you're all going Tuesday). I plan on doing Cades Cove, Gatlinburg, Driving over the mountain (including stopping Clingman's dome) to Cherokee, and tubing near the campground.

The thought of interstate driving scares me a little (and NO I'm not telling my husband!!!). But if I can get thru this coming weekend of going to momoffive's and to Maryland and back, without having a nervous breakdown, then Townsend should be a blast.
