Sounds really great! Thanks for sharing the info.

This looks really nice. Did you by any chance take pictures of the bath houses for those of us that are definite "cupcke" campers.

Great story! Can't wait for the next installment. Happy Anniversary.

Feeling a bit like "Little Mary Sunshine" today, so I want to say instead of letting the slow transportatin be a probem try to make the best of the situation. We don't hurry when on vacation - that includes waiting for transportation. Part of the Disney trip is waiting so I try to look at it as a chance to hold conversations with my family and great "strangers" from all over the place. On our last trip during a long wait we met a lady that worked for the National Zoo who showed us video on her phone of the brand new baby panda just after birth. It was just amazing and wouldn't have happened if we weren't waiting for something. So, remember the magic can happen anywhere.

Beyond the Kilimajaro Safari - our must do's are Flights of Wonder, Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo the Musical. If you are interested in big cats, then don't miss the trail in Asia for the tigers.

We like to ride the epcot monorail all the way around - it is a fun view of the park even when you are not visiting. The boat ride from epcot to the studios is fun too and gives able spots to hope off and tour the resorts. We spend a whole day resort hopping even when we are doing parks. And I know I'll will sound like a fuddy duddy, but I like to sit under my awning with a glass of wine and a good book. Not many opportunities for that at home.

We spent two days a week for 8 months of behavioral therapy with my son on the Johns Hopkins (Broadway) downtown campus through Kennedy Krieger and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It is very difficult driving and I would not want to take a camper through the area. I also know that the building we were in offered free valet parking, so we pulled up and went straight into the hospital. If I can be of any help while you are in the area, please don't hesitate to give me a shout.

We enjoy the counter service, too. It is a nice change of pace from the typical burger/chicken nugget.

I live in Abingdon and it takes us about 30-45 minutes to get downtown when there is no traffic, it would be 95 South into the city. I haven't seen the rv park at Bar Harbor, but it is next to a protected estuary, so it should be quiet.

I had the honor of playing Malificent in the Sleeping Beauty ballet. It was just about the most fun I have ever had onstage.

Our favorite parks now has one of our favorite treats! WooHoo...

Hope you are able to make it to the Fort tomorrow. Sorry about the delay.

Glowing with pride for my son who played Tiajuana Taxi beautifully today and did a stellar rendition of the Main Theme from Star Wars at his piano recital today!

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I was substituting in kindergarten yesterday and one of the kids asked the date. I answered the 14th. One of the other kids said "no, it's the 15th." I turned around shocked and looked at the calendar. When I said, "hey, I forgot it was my birthday," the entire class started singing - it was priceless.

My DH lost his 10 day park hopper on the first day of our trip. We purchased through AAA, but I had the receipt with me. The front desk of the hotel replaced his ticket without question.

I have never understood the "sprint" for any attraction. Main Street in an of itself should be savored.

I agree that 3D will be the standard - guess we'll just keep working on the glasses...

Looks delicious - thanks for the photo!

I love Soarin' , but can see the need for an upgrade in the film. I am going to be the dissenter on 3D - I am not fond of the glasses and I have a kid that just won't wear them. He sat through the Toy Story 1&2 3D double feature watching the blurry screen.....

Thank you for your service. I haven't been on the board long either, but have been having a blast! Enjoy....

Orioles sweep The Rays!!! Go O's!!!

We drive all night with cat naps along the way too.

I haven't been in the poly in years, but a tiki bar might become a must do.

I think my sons would not know it was the Fort without Stacy. The youngest has her on at all times that we are not in the parks and my older son is a big fan of the Disney Cartoons. Can't tell you how many times I have dosed off to Mickey's whistle. Consequently, even with two tv's, that leaves no tv viewing for the adults.
Baltimore to the Fort - our stops

I have to give you credit for patience. We are north of Baltimore and I usually visit my mom in Salisbury before heading south. That way I can avoid the Baltimore and the Washington beltways....besides the Bay Bridge Tunnel is a must do for my kids.
