  1. Great job! Now where do I send my money to get one of those? Hmmm?
  2. They look like the top part of nail clippers to me. I'd remake them into some kind of jewelry.
  3. Thought I'd try a better way to download my few pics before the rain fell. I loved touring the barn. I made a temporary Fiends sign because I didn't have mine yet. Got it now and can't wait to use it next time.
  4. The only real problem was having too many family members visit while dealing with the rain. We could have dealt with it I think. But all in all we had a nice time. Now I need to reschedule.
  5. Ok we give up. The rain is too much for us. We packed up and are heading home. We will retry this trip again soon. We made the best of it for a few days but the walks to the bath house and back in the drenching rain were getting old. We even toured the Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian and Grand Floridian in the tropical storm! Yeah monorail.
  6. I think my favorite thing today was the TCD barn! A few rare Mickies in there and the large bay Beligian Beau (I think) was beautiful. I want one. Can I have one mommy? Please.
  7. Nice overcast day. Humid but not hot. Misting occasionally all day. You guy were right about the conquina. It sticks to everything.
  8. Well it started to rain when all the relatives showed up. Go figure. Too many people in one pup on a rainy afternoon. I. I could deal if it was just my own kids but this is a bit much.
  9. Cool cant wait. Probably have croud here. Family is coming from all over Florida to see us. And the fort. I think they really want to see the fort. Lol
  10. Trying to post pix on moble version or full version from iPhone. No luck. What about the $1.99 iPhone app advertised on the mobile site?
  11. Well we checked in siite 1513. We had an awesome time @ HDR. Eventually I'll figure out how to attach pics from my iPhone. The choose file Button is greyed out. Anybody know how to attach pics from an iphone? I had to put up a temporary fort fiends sign. I think that Lou might drop off my sign while we are here. :)
  12. Oh sure the Gulf beach sand is beautiful but away fom the coast, blech. I'll try to cover the conquina with the rug. Thx Made my reservations for HDR. Had to get the 5PM balcony. The 7:15 was sold out. The 9PM spot is too late for the young DDs. I also made reservations for the Rose and Crown at EPCOT (I guess thats R&C @EPCOT) for Tuesday. Now I have tons of family coming to visit. Which is great but I told everyone that I'm NOT Leaving the Disney property. Look like gonna have some weather too. As long as it's just regular Florida passing rain, that's OK.
  13. I guess coquina is crushed shells. That's a lot better than sand. There is NOTHING dirter than Florida sand. LOL Tom
  14. How do most PUP owners set up at the site in the 1500 loop? Do they park on the pavement or on the sand? Thanks, Tom
  15. Well, I thought that you wanted to know. Professional sand sculptures coat their creations with a mix of 1/3 white glue and 2/3 water to make the scupture last longer and to hold up to wind and light rain. Somewhere back the in recesses of my mind I think that I heard some use hairspray. I had to look that up. Here is a reference for using hairspray. http://www.ehow.com/how_12074097_seal-sand-sculpture-hairspray.html You can make your own longer lasting sand mix. http://www.ehow.com/...-sculpture.html Cool huh?
  16. Man, do I miss the the Adventurer's Club. I have very fond memories of this place. A place like this could be the center of a whole new attraction. I wish I had taken some pictures back in the day. I had planned a trip down to see it before it closed but plans fell through.
  17. I don't want to dump on crocs but when I had to take my DD to the pediatrist. He asked if she wore crocs. I said no she wears flip flops and I a knowledged their jack of support for Playing in. He said well at least it's not crocs. He smiled and said. "they are going to put my kids through college". That kind of gave me a lot to think about. Btw after reading these posts I think a box with a lid for us.
  18. That's what I figured for loop 1500. Close to the action but smaller sites. I appreciate the tip to check out the loops on YouTube. Being our first trip I figured that the DDs would prefer to be near the bigger pool. Next trip will be much more laid back. Maybe we'll stay in loop 2000. Are there any loops that lend themselves to popups more than others? Are other 'full hookup' loops worth the extra money if using a popup?
  19. You guys got me so excited about this trip I just booked the trip! Woo Hoo I got my ressies !!!! I'm so psyched! Alright, alright I know. I've run out of exclamation points allotted for the day. Where was I, oh yeah. WOO HOO!
  20. I'm new here and besides I'm not qualified to judge your mental state or wither anyone is trying to drive you crazy @ FF. :rofl3: But no, I'm Tom Dewey. Nice to meet you Lou
  21. Is Loop 1500 OK? I haven't heard much about it on FF. I am camping with three Ladies. They want to be near a CS, but probably not close enough to hear the door slam all night. Been there before! What day of the week should we visit EPCOT? Man it's been really cool reading about the history of FW and WDW.
  22. This is my first poston FF and we are planning our first family trip to FW. My last FW trip was in the 70s! Man, River Country was Fun. I remember a fiberglass tree stump trash can at the campsite and almost falling out of the last row on the last tram car on a latenight trip back from MK. Now we are taking my DW and my kids DD8 and DD13 to see EPCOT. They've been to MK a couple of times. I'm hoping that we start making this a semi-annual event now that we have a PUP. Short trip - Friday June 22 to Tue June 26. Thinking about requesting Loop 1500. The kids want to go to the pool a lot.
