First, I need to let you know something.
 
I have now looked at the last three reels.
 
Jackpot!
 
There will be some awesome Fort stuff coming your way before this report ends.
 
We will build up to that.
 
Alas, I did not find any more River Country pics, which is what I really wanted to see.
 
But for you Fort aficionados, you will not be disappointed.  At least I hope.
 
It will be a great supplement to the Fort stuff already included in the first part of this TR.

Anna doing a rhino face is maybe the best picture ever posted on FF.

We just got home this afternoon from our first family week at the Fort. The kid's had a great time. Even my wife said it was a great vacation. We learned that there are things we thought we needed that we didn't. Things we thought we could do without that it would have been nice to have. Everyone agreed that we could have used more time. With set-up on Sunday, five days during the week to do the parks, DTD and a few resort meals and then tear-down on Saturday, it seemed like there were a lot of activities that we missed out on at the Fort. We will be doing a sit down debriefing so we can all have input for our next trip to the Fort. And that's the best part of all, everyone wants to do it again. Success!

I remember seeing these slides when I was a kid.  I have to admit that I don't remember seeing this in person,
 
although I remember riding the skyway numerous times.
 
I loved the skyway.
 
I wish it were still there.
 
It was a great view from up there.

I was thinking after seeing these slides and wondering if this could actually been a reason they got rid of the skyway.
 
This is kind of like looking behind the great wizard's curtain for those riding the skyway.
 
All of those kids who remember riding the skyway and seeing that would be ruined for the 20,0000 Leagues ride after that maybe?

I think it would be cool to see that old stuff again once, but it would all be pretty dated, much like Universe of Energy and Imagination.  Obviously Wonders of Life is a worthless waste of space also.  FW is in dire need of some better attractions.
