  1. ok, we stayed in 600 the last time and we had lots of space. So compared to that it is much tighter?
  2. I know, I know, another loop question yikes!!. We were thinking about requesting loop 400 because of its proximity to the boats and pioneer hall. I don't hear to much about this loop is it a favorite or not really?
  3. Coming down the first of June, we hit the tropical storm that came thru FL. My parents were pulling their 28' with their Expedition and I was a nervous wreck behind them. They had everything tow wise correct, but in those circumstances it made it worse. That is one of the reasons we personally switched to a fifth wheel.
  4. I think I'm leaning toward the same assumption of a mash up of different comments. But if It is from one person what an arrogant little jerk
  5. Who is our TA everyone talks about and what is her contact info.
  6. I had no idea about the restaurant discounts. The more I'm seeing these pluses the more appealing it looks. Thanks everybody
  7. So , if we decide to join, do we book thru AAA or call Disney and ask for a AAA discount?
  8. We are considering joining AAA, one for the roadside assistance and two for the potential discounts for various places. What kind of FW discounts does it offer. (like June) for example and do ya'll think its worth it and been happy with the service? All opinions are welcome
  9. Well, You know I tried. Disney isnt that generous
  10. How much is Sun Pass. We paid $7.50 coming and going. Does it save money?
  11. Ok, I am still trying to decide what to do!! :banghead: H E L P, If we can afford it, my daughter who is graduating wants to stay at POFQ. If they offer room discounts of say 15 to 20%, and then offer free dining, can these two be combined? We still haven't decided when to go. But I can't do much until 2013 rates are out. What I do know is that it will be Fort Wilderness if no free DP is offered.
  12. We went to the Wave first of the month and we were really impressed. I had heard alot of mixed reviews, but I'm willing to try any restaurant at Disney at least once. I had the lamb shank, DH had the tenderloin and DD's each had the Penne Pasta. All were excellent. My oldest did say that the sauce on the pasta was really spicy to her but had great flavor, the younger ordered hers without sauce. The lamb and tenderloin were cooked perfect. Both meats were very tender. The service was really good as well. Our server was very knowledgable of the offerings and made suggestions to us in selecting o
  13. Anyone heard any rumors about how long it will be before we can start reserving packages for next year? I've been checking online, but no go so far
  14. I shall refrain from saying anything else on this subject
  15. The Brits really get some sweet deals. Their pound is worth more than our dollar, so its less expensive for them already. Bout the only thing "non discounted" is airfare, but then again virgin may give them a deal with that too. Maybe we all should be practicing our best British accents
  16. Of course they wait until I've just left and then make a dole whip ladies shirt
  17. I love looking at those photos. It brings back such great memories of how I remember Disney. I was one of the those kids that loved "if you had wings".
  18. Thanks everybody!! Okay Okay shorten it a little, but noone better call me a small powertool :rofl2:
  19. Those campouts sound great, We'll see what the calender looks like
  20. We went a couple years back to the food and wine festival. We had a blast.
  21. See thats our dilema. If my kids were small like yours, I wouldnt hesitate taking them out of school and just going. But I have one in 12th and the other in 6th. I was looking at the week before presidents week.
  22. Well thanks for all the info. We have a 28' Rockwood fifth wheel, and we love to do the state parks and try to go to Dollywood at least once a year and now obiously the Fort! I just loved it!. We live 30 minutes outside of Chattanooga and just love doing things together as a family. I hope ya'll dont mind alot of fort questions , I'm just trying to decide whether to take my two girls out of school or not next year.
  23. First, so glad I found you guys!! Second, we actually just came back from our first tripto the fort and loved it. We were in loop 600 we thought it was great. Anyway we are back and of course what do you do the first thing back? Well plan of course for the next time. So my daughter graduates from high school next year and she wants to go back to Disney. While I loved our trip, I wanted to try to go when it wasnt so hot. I have read so many "crowd reports" for the first week of April saying stay away. How do you all feel about that week. I know Disney is really always crowded, but we do want t
