We go every year for the fourth and we love it! We don't do any parks on the fourth though.

Just a thought, but if you look at some of the boating stores online, west marine, overtons...they have heavy duty plastic steps that can handle more weight and portable handrails. But, because it's a boating store, it won't be cheap.

We love the 900 loop. It's a small loop and everything is close, but site 932 is right next to the comfort station.

Check out Blue Key Resort...it's just a few miles to Key West. It's expensive, but awesome.

So glad your cat was found.

You should post this on facebook . There are a couple of pages devoted to the fort and you would get a lot of coverage. I hope you find your cat.Hi there! Our family was camping at Ft. Wilderness last week (left Saturday march 28)and we believe our 17 year old cat jumped out while we were packing up to leave. He (Spot) is white with black spots, older (17), and very sweet. He has never gotten lost like this before. He is microchipped and we've reported him as lost to the campground, but they cannot- will not post a picture of him like we'd hoped. We are wondering if some kind soul is taking care of him in their camper. We were in site 861 in the Jack Rabbit (800) loop. If anyone is there now and hears anything or could help in any way we would be so appreciative!!

Tubbys Tank House on River Street has a neat atmosphere and good food. Downtown, there's the Pirate House and the original Paula Deen Restaurant. You made me remember what a good time we had in Savannah.

I have several pages I skim over everyday and your right, that page does have a lot of drama. I don't think I'll ever understand why some people just want to stir up trouble. The page wasn't started by a TA but it's been hijacked by various TAs during it's existence, which usually gets ugly very quickly and the trolls come out in force.
It was all the drama and nonsense over that stuff that made me finally bail.

Posted on I Love Camping at Fort Wilderness page. Supposedly, it's a top secret project with phasing out the campground beginning 2017. I don't even want to put into writing what the smart business plan would be...the Fort is our favorite campground and I can't even imagine Disney removing it.

Did anyone see the post on Facebook that they are going to close Fort Wilderness in 2017? I know these rumors pop up all the time, but where are they getting their info?

Checked with my friend, but she's not able to translate Japanese. So sorry, but I'll keep checking. Just a thought, if any fiends are at Epcot, I'm sure someone at the Japanese Pavillion could translate.
-
I'll ask my friend when if I see her tomorrow. If she doesn't come to Mah Jongg tomorrow, I'll email it to her . She spent many years in Japan, so she may be able to translate.

That's strange. I booked two yesterday, a week apart in June.....both for eleven people.

Thanks for the "heads up" on BOG. I was able to get lunch scheduled for the rest of our group!

I know I am going to regret this but what is BAH?
Thank you for asking that question! I didn't know either.

We're bringing a big group this summer and they're all expecting me to make their visit magical...and I will!! I don't use a spreadsheet, but I do have a yellow legal tablet and "My Disney Experience." I always relied on printed guides in the past, and I still pull them out from time to time but I also use all the forums. It's sad to see families wandering around aimlessly with no plan or direction. It costs too much not to do a little research.
And just an F.Y.I. If you make more than two reservations at the same time (I made three), they make it very difficult for you to make dinner reservations.

We took our 13 year old granddaughter to Artist Point for dinner one evening and she loved it. We all dressed better than our park clothes and she felt so grown up. Now, it's the restaurant she always requests when it's her turn to pick.

Update: following your advise... I was able to get a table for 4 on June 28 (day just opened) at 4:25. We won't won't all be able to eat, but at least the grand kids and their parents will have the last meal of their trip at BOG. Thanks for all the help!! Pixie Dust to everyone!!!

Thanks everyone, I'm going to keep trying until I get one!
-
Thanks for the help, I'll keep trying. Do you have to use a fast pass?? It doesn't really matter if it's lunch or dinner, my grandson really loved the meatloaf the one time we got to eat there and wants it again. He'll be so disappointed if they changed the menu. Lol
-
Thanks, i'll keep trying.
-
We'll be there. No kids though, they're wimps and want to leave before the big crowds arrive.
-
I'm coming to the experts...what's the secret to getting any kind of reservation at BOG? We were able to eat there when they first opened and all my grandson can talk about is the meatloaf. This is the one dream I can't fulfill ! Help

We saw a truck wash at one of the big truck stops right before you get on the turnpike. I can't remember exactly which exit though, and my notes are in the rv. The cost was either $29.99 or $39.99. Since we have the same problem, I started looking for truck washes and noticed that Petro stations usually had them.

Our kids are renting from Meachams rv rental . They have several units that allow pets which guided their choice and they have been very easy to work with.
