  1. We have only been to the Fort twice, but loved it both times.  We plan to stay there on future trips.  The thing I worry about is if empty spots do start to show up and they don't

reach thier capacity targets the short-sighted cash-now-and-to-hades-about-the-long-term-effect MBAs will say, "See people aren't showing up!  We NEED the Fort DVC area!"

Then the Fort will disappear for good.  That is my worry.

  2. You've probably read this before, but we use the Exit Now book (Barnes and Noble $32).  We have the 2011 edition and it's still reliable.  The facilities for big rigs are printed in red, so as we are going down the road, I look for the exits where we can get in and out easily.  It's also lists everything at each exit and indicates which side of the road they are on.

I searched the Apple App store and couldn't find anything.

I have an app called Interstate Exits Guide on my android and it was free.  It kind of sounds like the Exit Now book.  Only have used it once

    so far.

  3. Our cart goes over the speed limit at the fort, but we still pull over for buses and faster cars.  We're one of the smallest vehicles on the road, so why not play it safe?

Why?  For the same reason that bicyclists demand the entire lane here in Iowa.  "I have a right to be on the road, so you need to make way for me!"

While they play chicken with a 2 ton truck.

  4. I was told by a ford tec that any ford more than 10 yrs old the ethanol in the gas is eating the rubber gas lines it's not a matter of if but when it will burn

I've heard this almost all my life.  But I've owned 3 or 4 vehicles in my life, so far, and I've always put ethanol in my cars and have never

had a fuel line problem.  And I drive my cars until they die.  Transmision (230K miles), engine block and death by deer.  My current car

is a 2003 Ford Taurus wagon with 258k miles on it and I always use ethanol.  Now if you want to talk about the hatch door design I'm there!

That person I'd like to meet in a dark alley and "discuss" it with him!
