I don't think you can tent camp in the 900 loop, but that is our favourite loop.  In the middle, near the pool, campfire and Meadows.  Love this loop!

Down the road 2 miles and the house on the left.  Can't miss it.

So it seems that if they theme it up a little bit and enforce all rules evenly that would fix it for most people?

So to turn this around a little bit what would it take to make it like the "good old days"? 

Bring back:

     Log benches, tree trunk trash cans, the covered wagon by the settlement trading post, an updated swimming pool and the wilderness trails?

Anything else?  (I didn't mention the petting zoo, because we're from Iowa and as my wife says if I want to pet a goat I can just go down the road!)

Would you want the breakfast cart that went around to the different loops?

I'm just curious as to what would make it feel like it used to be?

In Iowa we have salt too, but we also have a fancy schmancy chemical that sometimes freezes when it is in the upper 20s! 

Since people have brought up expanding the Fort with more camp sites I'll bring this up.  Jim Hill over on the Unofficial Guide Blog mentioned that once the huts on the water by the Wilderness Lodge are done the construction people will move down to River Country and will at least do the ground work for a new 5 story DVC on that site with a River Country theme.  Take it with any amount of salt that you want.  :)

As I've told college friends I used up all of my luck keeping myself alive.  We did things as kids that we would be arrested for now a days.  Life happens you can't prevent everything.  We had jarts and not once did we think to throw them at each other.

Even with fort prices being over $100 a night, I just looked and for a family of 6, which we are, a family suite will cost $487 a night.  Now that is too expensive.  We love the fort.

I hope they never build a DVC at the fort!

We take the boat to MK.  Everywhere else we usually drive, because we're impatient.  But as several people have said if this is your first trip the busses

might be the way to go.  We felt that the signs around WDW left a lot to be desired.  Unless you have the bus luck of TCD!

OK, the proper way to rig a portable DVD player is to hang it between the two front seats of the van using straps and Duct tape! 

Is this someone trying to be funny?  Because in another thread, can't remember which one, someone mentioned that on a thread on Voldy someone asked to share a campsite and that the person started

to make some weird demands of people.  It just seems way too much of a coincidence.  But no drama!

I may be way off-base, but doesn't this sound vaguely similar to another thread?  If I'm wrong (doing my best Roseanne Roseannadanna voice) "Never mind."
