  1. Everything ebay has been doing has been anti-seller. I am looking at getting rid of my store and limiting what types of things I sell because stores are really getting the shaft. We have been playijng with a local facebook selling page and it has been doing very well. Sold fast and NO FEES! We are using Craigs list on some stuff too. We have been selling about 150 items per month on ebay, listing more than that to get those sales though. Try to list items that would sell for more than $10 each to make it worthwhile. Make bigger lots on some things for ease of shipping and larger dollars.

  2. I recently watched a dvd on theme parks. They raved about how inexpensive this one was in PA. The daily cost is $39 for unlimited riding on rides that you would find at your local carnival or maybe a county fair. Now I can buy a 10 day pass with park hoppers for $335 or so. That's even less than the "inexpensive" place. Seeing the photos and what they had on the DVD, it is not even close to the calibur of Walt Disney World. WE spent a week in Northern Minnesota fishing and it cost us over $2500. I could do that at WDW.

  3. [sNIFF] Under a bit of financial pinching, we just started putting some of my scrapbooking equipment, doodads and whatchamacallits on ebay. :- Motivation? Paying for our Christmas trip to the Fort. ::)

Doesn't hurt so bad...knowing that the stuff that's sitting in the basement = bringing the family and sis's family to the Fort...

Besides, I have SOOOOooo much stuff, that I KNOW there will be enough left for me to still put together other scrapbooks.

What's your screen name on ebay? My daughter loves scrapbooking and is always buying stuff.

  4. I was lucky enough once to see a bald eagle dive down to Bay Lake and snag a bass over at wilderness lodge. It happened about 15 feet from where I was standing. Both me and the guy standing next to me had cameras, but neither one of us even came close to getting a picture. It was an unforgettable sight.

If anybody is lucky enough to be in Wisconsin in the wintertime (hahaha) the Wisconsin River in Sauk City has about 15 - 25 Eagles every winter staying there. You can see them up close. Scientists come every year to study them. Really neat.

  5. We have stayed a couple of times at the Baraboo Hills Campground. It's about 8 minutes from the Dells, In Baraboo, and it is tucked away amongst the trees. There are a lot of things for kids and adults to do. They have a weekend pass that you can buy to have unlimited use of little and big bicycle type vehicles as well as everything else they have. Pool is decent and the kids love the bouncy pad. We rented a trailer there once at a VERY reasonable cost in the spring. We also rented a cabin another time. It gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the Dells for some peace and quiet.
