Wow. I can't even imagine. WTF (and I don't mean Fort!!) is wrong with people??
Friends of ours have an autistic 27 yr old and he is so gentle with my almost 4 year old.

A guy I used to work with a couple of years ago took his family to Gatlinburgh Tn for a vacation and they spent more than I did to take my Family to Disney.
I think my Jersey Shore vacation was more than Disney. We even went over Labor Day because the house was 1/2. Once we paid for gas, tolls, boardwalk rides, food, boardwalk food, surrey rental, rainy day activity, old time photo, etc, etc. it added up. The rides are what get you. A ride in the Ferris wheel for the 3 of us is $15!

Looking forward to updates!

6,000 pics?!? Holy cow! That's awesome! Can't wait to see the ones you share!

That stinks! I imagine it must have added a lot of time on to your trip?

they are amazing looking. If I win the lotto, I'll just have them build me my own house, somewhere else.

That's great news. I have found that Netflix's selection has been terrible for a while, and this should provide some decent picks for a change, especially for Disney fans.
I totally agree. My son finds things to watch but he is almost 4. I don't even bother looking for adult stuff because there is never anything.

I'm not excited. Never saw the movie, have no interest in seeing it. I will check out avatar land once it opens and the 5 or 6 people who are excited about it get it of my way :/)

Guess I shouldn't sun bathe topless at my house in Golden Oaks then?

Of course, they also have the really good sloppy joes, which have no ground beef or tomato sauce. A NJ sloppy joe is ham, roast beef, turkey, and swiss cheese with russian dressing on thinnly sliced buttered rye bread. Makes me hungry just to hink about it.
I have never heard of this!!

Sorry I can't help Dave but, this picture is adorable!
Thanks!

We are homeless too - so the cabins for us! Although, I must say the mousekeeping is a nice touch...
Us too.

I have seen this flag before. But not with this elaborate of a set-up:
Can somebody explain to me why those characters are grouped together on a Christmas flag? What does the Chesire Cat have to do with Christmas, and what does he have to do with the other characters on that flag? Same thing with Dopey, Dumbo, Mickey, and the rest- what the heck is this all about? Is there some common theme that makes sense for those characters to all be together like that? I think it's strange.
I think Dopey looks like Porky Pig.

I can't figure out how to make the pics smaller in photobucket. It's smaller on there but when I post it here it's huge. can anyone help?
I wish the photographer would have told us to move a little bit. It drives me crazy that it's not centered. I guess we should have placed ourselves better but we weren't thinking about it.
This has nothing to do with your question really but check out Mickey's shoe!
I like this picture because it shows them interacting and not just posing for the pic.
This was taken at the meet and greet in Storybook Circus. My son was just leaning on the pole because he was tired and the photopass guy moved him a little bit, had him hold his sword and took the pic. It is one of the best ones we have of his makeup and costume.

Sorry, but I hate the magic shots. Would never buy one.
I like them for my son, but I wouldn't get one with me in it by myself.
-
We don't do many of the Photopass opportunities with the characters because the background is so distracting.
I agree, I hate the character connection in EPCOT because of that. Plus the background seems to make no sense with anything.
-
I'll put some up later but here are things I love. Magic shots (I don't think I need to explain why! They are awesome!).
Things that I don't like, when the photographer doesn't tell us we are off centered. I'll post one later for an example, or when they don't tell me my kid isn't looking up. I like some variety so that when I look at 3 years worth of photopass its not the same exact thing every year.

They have a similar balloon at the zoo in Philadelphia. It scared the crap out if me, yet I have gone in a regular balloon twice and wasn't scared. Strange I am :)

We used to go the full week before Thanksgiving. F&W was ending (F&W isn't important to us because my son has food allergies) so once that Monday rolled around it was smooth sailing. But now with them having the races that weekend, I'm assuming it would be more crowded.
This year we arrived on 10/23 and the weather was awesome and crowds weren't bad, but by time we left on 11/1 it was too cold to swim! It's really a crap shoot, I think.
-
I agree with the girls about the cold. Even though I'm an early riser, I didn't leave the site til at least 9:00am this trip. The nights were too cold for my taste too. Ok for hanging around but not looping.
As for the windmill, there were many times this trip that I would think the same thing. Does anyone even notice that anymore or know what it is?
I bet some newbies have no idea what's rotting behind the RC fence. (where my son learned to swim :- )
I bet some have no idea that TCD ranch was once a real petting zoo, with animals you could PET. And Minnie Moo!
I bet some don't know you could once swim in the lake.
etc...... Maybe it's my old age that's making me reminisce more.
Maybe 20 years from now some new campers will never have known the ranch, field or pavilion was there, and they'll be ok with it. :banghead:
I remember Minnie Moo! She was cool! I also remember the buses being Chip and Dale and Crockett and Boone, I like that better than colors.

Sorry.
I'm not much into beefcake.
TCD
Send your daughters on Operation Beefcake for me!
-
Hey! Those firefighters were there the Saturday after thanksgiving. What's the deal? Do they do this a lot? Not that I'm complaining. I might pull up a chair next time.
scrolling back to see if TCD got us some eye candy shots.....

That's the truth.
As they leave the nest, that becomes harder and harder to do.
We still have the twins in the nest at least until June.
Thanks for reminding me to appreciate that.
Know how to see your kids a lot? Offer to take them on vacation and pay for all or some. Works for my parents :) They see me lots :)
Regardless of bribing them with vacation, I think you'll see a lot of your girls. Based on your TR you guys have a great relationship. The older I get the more I appreciate my parents and try to spend as much time with them as possible. Thank God my husband gets along with them!

We took that tour years ago (like a whole bunch of years ago because I think it was like $8 back then!!) and we loved it!
