I entered in the wee hours of the morning, like 12:30 my time, then i started wondering if I should have waited? oh well.

It's strange to see the MVMCP parade in daylight!

My dad took the train (regular Amtrak not auto train) about 2 years ago. Said it was awful. Now keep in mind he is spoiled from the auto train. He didn't like how it made stops and people were getting off and on and he rode with some questionable people (thankfully he was able to move an sit with a nice Amish family).

I can't imagine riding the train would be all puppies and rainbows like this article suggest.

DH and I talked about it and we would probably opt for Disneyland. We have never been and it would cost us way more to go there than to WDW.

I will say the crew on the auto train are great(even before we were outed as employees). They pretty much stay on the same shift, more like a family, per our conversations with the crew. Very different from the regular Amtrak trains.

I have heard the Amtrak puts their best employees on the auto train.
