  1. Post a photo of a teal pumpkin in a bright and prominent area of your camp if you are intending to have special allergy free selections. More families are beginning to recognize and look for this  symbol  :)

I usually have a couple painted teal pumpkins at the corner.

It's called The Teal Pumpkin Project. My kids are super lucky, but I try to give this group a shout out every year to raise awareness.

  2.  For anyone who is keeping up, yes I had a heck of a time on the other cruise too. This was a very minor sprain just multiplied by walking all day every day. I was cranky at midnight in AK though. Lol our last night, a week of hobbling, I was done.

It's my MO though. Something always happens at Disney. Usually I pick up head colds. The kids were concerned but I'm naturally clumsy. It could have happened here or there. Thank you for the well wishes  :) I'm back to normal  now.

The only thing I'd mention is that DCL really needs to add new music. I heard Margaritaville WAY too many times.

We are booked for a 9 night Alaskan Cruise on the Disney Wonder, although in a standard room. Concierge was just too much for and luckily was already sold out.

No it's not. But I can make sure there is one less concierge cabin available...

and did you seriously take a photo of your feet? Lol!!!

  4. We may also have to pull out.

It's Spec's call. We have a large overseas trip, and it's his year to go to elk camp. I know we will have smaller things here and there but something is going to have to give. If he takes four days off to help me with WWW, we won't be able to make it.

  6. It is legal in Louisiana. I do it from time to time. Here is a picture from this past May.

I have done it twice to the Fort with the golf cart. I was nervous the whole time in Florida as I understand it is not legal in Florida. Due to that I prefer to go to the Fort with this:

What Jody fails to mention here is that he was a professional driver in his former life. He's not only extremely safety conscious, he's instinctually careful, something he's always been even before his days behind the wheel.

The first set up also has been considered and at times reconsidered. He might decide not to double tow. The important bits are to consider your route. Plan ahead for your stops and traffic lights. Slow down plenty of space in front and behind. No talking. We don't talk to him, he doesn't talk to us. I might go all day headed to the fort and only speak a handful of words to him while driving. He decides where and when we stop for meals. Some places are just out, no question. And he scouts exits, restaurants etc. Always. We stop at the same places to sleep, to eat, to fuel up, to pee. Our dogs have specific rest areas we go to. All based on safety in leaving the flow of traffic, parking, and entering the flow of traffic.

    It's a job. I'm proud of him. :)
