  1. Hi Ken!

Let me put it one way.

I had attempted to use one agent and received extremely little, next to nothing response. I hesitate to say much more but it was extremely distressing, prior recommendation considered. I expected the same result as my following travel agent experience.

I contacted Jason on the recommendation of Carol and Doodle, and within five minutes had my request answered and a reservation conformation sitting in my email inbox. Since I loved dealing with him so much, I've made two more. ;)

  2. I saw this in Frontgate Magazine. It is pricey at $399 but it states that it can accommodate up to 4000 sq feet (I thought 3000) for up to six hours.

Normally "up to" is a red flag for me but I purchase their holiday items from time to time and I have never been anything except pleased by Frontgate.

    Here is the link:

I'm thinking about how it will cover our entire fenced yard. It keeps the mosquitos away from the dogs (little bit of heart worm preventative) and from us, especially the kids. It is so humid, and raining just a little bit every couple days, enough to keep the puddles wet for mosquitos to hatch out.

I'm trying to research to see how much 12oz of spray lasts. It works similar to a humidifier, four minutes for six hours, programmable to change times between fogs.

  3. Camper + Tent has always been A-OK.

I think Jason summed it up well. People that need spots to sleep should hook up with those that have them, then someone in that group handles the reservation for that group/site.

Can someone confirm that, as long as everyone staying on the site is listed on the reservation, anyone in the group (presumably whomever arrives first) can check in and get the KTTW cards for the group?

Long winding reason, but it looks like I may be first, getting there before Thursday.

Jody will be flying down and may join us Sunday night. He'll help me drag the RV home the next day.

  4. And obviously, we're grown ups here and if we end up playing musical beds, I don't think that's a problem later. I was just curious in order to facilitate everybody getting a reservation if we're all making our own separately.

    I'm confused.
(and this is where I send a great big honking God Bless You to Mo for that bit of rational sanity)

  5. Also: not certain of the current rules, can we still place a tent on the campsite?  If so when Jason makes the rezzies, I can tell them there is a tent there.

Now how is this going to work? How can people make their reservation if they're not bringing a camper? Do they have to get with someone who is bringing a place to stay and…

    Okay...

For example, Kim and Marty says they're staying in my sardine can. Do they call and say "I"m staying with this person, but I need a key to the world." Or does my awesome TA (who I still owe a signature too) take all three of our names and makes the reservation?  And bills us separately?

  6.

I'm thinking of bringing my camper down as well, it will sleep 4 if we cuddle (the dinette is kid size so unless ya'll short ones wanna sleep there..)  2 with lots of room.. I will make this determination shortly!!

Umm.. Judy brings up an excellent point:  My dinette sleeps a tiny person, or one who doesn't mind sleeping doggy style (curled up! CURLED UP! get your minds out of the gutter)

Actually it's a fairly big dinette. The table is about three feet in diameter, the seats are another 18"… Okay, well, as long as we don't sneak in a 6' drag queen, it'll sleep comfortably.

  7. Unless you want to make them. You're on it. LOL  I'll send you the signatures in the am. :)

( don't think I got the cancellation from the first T-day reservation… I'll double check and send you a PM)

  8. Okay, so I would need my site full hookup from Feb 13th through Feb 17th.

I had told Jody I was flying in, but if we are going to have a larger crowd, then we need all the sleeping spaces we can get.  I am already driving 10 hours a day to groom dogs once a month. I can drive 14 to hang with my womenz. :)

  9. The Sardine can. I can drive that. I think the 1900 loop was the one they were in last time. I'd let Carol, Mo and Lorna decide loop.

5vr sleeps 5-7 if they want to sleep two to a full size bed. 5 if its sleep alone. I don't know if I could learn to pull that in six months.
