OK, that's enough now.
I mean it.
What's the universal Boom?
TCD
No Fuego?
No language barrier. Everybody understands when some poor panicked soul gestures maniacally, shouting boom!
-
Actually, technically it's "la barcaza infierno"
LOL
Looks like the universal Boom! to me.
-
As any fireman will tell you, it's important to keep fuego in your life.
FUEGO!! FUEGO!!
-
Cool idea, how's it going?
It's not. :banghead: We're about to be washed off the continental US. Ever since I posted that, we've been rained out. Seems like it'll be a March/April project if it doesn't stop anytime soon.

Hats???
Ok, so I am picturing 21 middle aged women in church hats on top of tiaras, wearing tutus over their tee shirts and jeans, with mis-matched shoes, twirling hoes and hula hooping while laughing so hard they can't breathe.
Does that sound right?
What are those fuzzy boot coverings that go halfway up the leg? You forgot those. That would cover "furry".

I have something serious to discuss, and I would like your HONEST opinions and thoughts please. For you ladies who are going to be at the Fort camping with your hubbies,.....how do you plan on splitting your time between him & the www? do you feel slighted that he's going to be there so you can't sleep over with the girls? I had a wrench handed to me yesterday (metaphorically speaking) and don't know what to do now.
Since I'm probably going to be spending Saturday and Sunday night after the family rolls out on Saturday morning, our "monkey wrench" kind of unknotted itself.
But he's all for being with friends, making new friends and doing our own hobby. He goes hunting/boating without me a few weekends a year. He always has. I've just now started to become a little more independent. It wasn't his support I was lacking. It was my personal "issue". I still have a little bit of a hang up about staying behind and making him drive the kids home.
If your husband is open to it, then I think it's important to take him at his word and enjoy yourself. God forbid anything happens to Specularius before he's 110. But creating something apart from him has laid the foundation that IF I had to go at this world alone, I know I won't be lost.
I have anxiety and separation issues from family deaths in the past. Breaking away is HARD. But like a kid, once it happens I'm glad I did it. And he is too. He was so happy when I took off and spent a night away from home by myself two years ago. He bragged to everybody.
That's if all of the guilt is self-inflicted. If this was our only trip for the year, or like some families, only trip for a few years I probably would only spend a couple hours on Friday and/or Saturday night at the WWW. Maybe the guys of the women who will be there can get together. I don't see why there can't be a men's night.

Spec and I are "foodies". We usually hit the signature dining at least every other night because we love the restaurants. Between the food at our favorites, and the fort, it's what draws us back again and again.

So, let me see if I have this straight. I should tell my friends that over President's weekend I will be with a group of women wearing tiaras, mis-matched shoes, and possibly tutus who will be talking and laughing loudly while eating yummy food and drinking who knows what?
Tiaras are required? Woot! I have one and it hasn't been worn in years. I've been looking for a reason.
I'll probably sleep in that sucker given half a chance. I belong in a tiara. My husband doesn't believe me though.
edit to add: twirling competition???

My favorite place for tea at WDW is the Royal Anandapur Tea Company, located in Asia at Animal Kingdom, over near Yak and Yeti.
And yes, yes, I do drink non-alcoholic beverages on occasion at WDW.
On occasion.
I agree. It's a must do on my trip to AK. Right after I check out the vet action at RPW. :)

FWIW: I'm another NOT AGAIN ToT rider. Specularius managed to talk me on it once after 15 years. Not. Again.
-
Oh I'm going to cry. They cancelled it?
The kids (14 and 7) love to get me in the teacup and spin, spin, spin! The greener they can make Mom, the louder they cackle.
I thought I was getting a break.

We're getting passes in February. I've looked a bit at the Tables of Wonderland but we're still on the fence. Specularius relies on me to do the reservations, special events and inner-Park related things. He keeps up with the Fort and Refurbs.
We're going to average, probably 30 days in park on these passes. Should we opt for the dining plan instead? I can't remember what we did a few years back. Usually we opt to go without the dining because we end up with a boat load of snacks and counter service.

I should mention: It was just as bad over there too!

Well on December the 27th at 10:00 am the line was backed up to the entrance to EPCOT and I was in it with the fiver being pulled by "Pete". It was not a fun time, but it only took about 20 minutes to get through the booth and hang right to the entrance to the Fort.
I see you neglected to mention our happy jaunt to the Epcot gates because you wanted to avoid the MK traffic.
:hah:

That maiden name doesn't spell very redneckish... that name looks strangely Cajunish.. (prounciation Arsono?)
My mother's people changed the original spelling from DeMouche.... so they could fit in better with the rednecks (my theory)
That name is a misnomer. I declare shenanigans somewhere. Pronounced Arseno. But they live in the far North East corner of Louisiana. That is all very rural, somewhat poor farming community. His grandfather was a farmer. How on earth a Cajun name landed there, I haven't a clue.
-
Is he native Louisianaian? Redneck? Cajun? Or Redneck Cajun? Just trying to figure out exactly how worried we should be? (from a former native Louisianaian)
Native Louisiana Redneck…. with a strong professional interest in hazardous materials.
(Family business is a speciality chemicals company.)

That picture is just too fuzzy to tell for sure. I will be back next month so My mission, and I have chosen to accept it, is to investigate this unknown cylinder and report back exactly what it is.
God help us all.

I just bought purple, green, gold lights for our camper to decorate for Mardi Gras…. I can see now, I'm going to have to put closed top fire pit on the "Need" list.

Great report. I knew a few were sick, but not the extent. Glad all feels somewhat better. I spent all day in bed sleeping today. Glad I did and didn't jump back into normalcy this morning after the kids went back to school. Maybe I slept off whatever is lurking since we got home.
We also hung around the beach for fireworks. It was our first NYE at the fort. We already have reservations for 13/14. A great experience.

Love the pictures. Can't wait until we get there. I might be readjusting our lunches to keep hitting BOG.

Oh, it gets better!
Why in the world would you go camping at Disney and not go into the parks?!?
'Cause it's the Fort? Duh!!
