Pam…exactly… a hitch mounted carrier…could carry a scooter, a generator, bikes….diamond plate cargo boxes….a bambi or bullwinkle carcass…. I am travelling light…going to do some mods in the TT also…will weigh the rig and get it right…. Probably going to pull the dinette and sofa out of the TT…customize office/dinette and full size recliner lift chair….replace existed sleeper sofa with jacknife sofa and place on non slide side….plenty of thoughts going on…..maybe a lift and a wider door…. I saw a platform lift that rides a single pole mounted to the side of the TT…. Plenty of grab rails inside…

hey tri-B….I saw those wheels… I am still fighting this dilemma…chair or scooter… I am still leaning toward the scooter….but understand the chair… I am trying to figure out what will work best for me being alone and loading on my truck or travel trailer when I have both on the road…..I am thinking about putting a hitch on the back of the TT to put a hitch mounted carrier there…. But….I haven't done anything yet….looking…..

to follow up for those who want to know… we rented a 'Dash' from the same company that rents the dream… it was a pretty comfortable ride…it stretched the size limit…. I never got the chance to try it on a bus….when the kids told me I would have to get on inner bus first and then wait and transfer to a outer bus…I choose to rest on the days they went to parks needing to do this... I wound up only riding the boat from the campground…you can only ride on the big boat…you drive it on the boat….and drive it off….you can sit on the scooter on the boat ride or get off and sit in a boat seat….you are

this was some of the most enjoyable times in my life… I picked up leadership in the cub scouts for my son…at webelos stage….there had been three dads trying to half ass it the year before… I stayed with it for 5 years….only stopped when carried off a mountain near Roanoke Virginia on the second day of a backpacking trip, the first day was white water rafting in New River Gorge…. If you are going to do it….really do it…. take advantage of the training….and then use it…. create real scouts….don't shortcut anything….you really don't know better….and the guy leading the next group….he doesn't know

thoughts? overbuy…you will only regret the first payment… my 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax/Allison has 250,000 miles on it and is just broke in….I get 21 mpg on highway loaded without a towI get 9.5 to 11.5 with current TT in tow… I have yet to replace the original brakes…I just replace the original shocks a few months ago…I replaced tires with original 10 ply LT's everytime….60K miles average I have pulled a lot of things with it….never a second thought given to it… If you underbuy….you will be replacing all of those wearable items…often…and you and your truck will part a long time before 25

thanks to all for your info…. NO DREAM…no hassle… What a disservice that scooter company is doing by advertising that the 'Dream' scooter is allowed on 'all' disney transport….it appears that is clearly NOT true…and they know it…. What a disservice disney is doing….by not stating clearly that it is allowed or not allowed……we called…they won't commit either way… So, we will be scooting on something else….

going to the fort on May 21st….have to have scooter if I want to go to parks…. which scooters (not disney) that can be rented locally that will last the day and be somewhat comfortable…will fit on all disney transportation? buses between parks…monorail….boats? any? anyone have any firsthand experience? secondhand? offhand? seems the scooter I already rented might not fit on transportation..even though rental company said so….not hard to believe…. comfort is the issue…I am at a point in life….where there is no do-overs… any ideas?
