I hope everyone has safe travels and you all have a wonderful time!! Please take LOTS of pics for those of us not fortunate enough to be joining you.

Me: Maybe we'll get a park hopper and do HS in the morning, come back for Z's nap, and do an Epcot evening.

Hubs: That's too much for one day. What about a MK day, HS day, and one day when we're just hanging at the Fort we do an evening at Epcot?

Problem solved, I think. And I still might get the HDDR.

My first Fort trip was in August of 1981 when I was 12. We had a pop-up. I don't remember what loop, but I remember LOVING :heartsmiley: the Fort. It's funny to think that the only park open then was MK. I think we spent 3 days there! I got the worst sunburn of my life, too. To this day I still have the freckles that resulted from that burn. :banghead:

The exception is Jim "HunkaHunka" "Your going to die today" Cantore. He is just sexy deadly.

If JC would do his remote weather bulletins shirtless, I would believe whatever came out of his mouth, right or wrong. :clint:

Annie, don't give up yet! Maybe one of our travel agent Fiends can find something for you? I know with Southwest, you can keep checking for cheaper fares and then change your reservation without a $ penalty. Problem with that weekend is that it's a holiday so they know they can get more $ from travelers. We would love for you to be a part of this year's WWW.

whoops, I stay away a week doing some pesky & totally senseless thing called work and lose my spot on Lisa's roof. Don't want to lose my WWW spot too. Should I send $$ now Carol?

BTW - Yvonne, if you left the kids here with mom instead of having her go there, we could drive down together...

I might be able to get my dh to go to MK again! The last time he was there, 2004, we had lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. Once we were seated, our waiter came to get our drink order. Dh asked him what was on tap. The waiter very politely, and somewhat apologetically, explained to him that they don't serve alcohol at the MK. Meanwhile, Dh is glaring at me as if I KNEW this and conspired with Disney against him. When John asked him why no alcohol is served at MK, the waiter told him that this was the park most geared toward the little ones. To which John responded, "You need it MORE here!!!". Apparently, after seeing all the angry parents pushing crying children in strollers, John had decided that perhaps Disney wasn't the most magical place. :rofl2:

Well now that "Sven the Cabana Boy" is in the picture, forget the fish!! I will enjoy the view on the sand instead with INC, Judy and MinnieMom!!

Oh, Lou. You and I didn't spend nearly enough time together or you would have known I am not normal! :tinfoil: But, at least I'm fun!! My dh says we're all our own kind of crazy. I tend to believe he's right.

A lovely Canadian couple gave us a tip about the fish when we were in the Dominican Republic last year. Bring some bread with you, pull off little pieces & throw them in the water. The fish will SWARM you!!! It's SO cool!!! Unless, like INC, you're afraid of them. In that case, I recommend eating the bread yourself. :rofl3:

It scares the bejeezus out of me, but I would totally go on a ghost hunt as long as I have enough alcohol in me.

I'm finally here!! 17 pages and I finally get to tell you how much I'm loving this TR!!! Dave and Christy, you have the most beautiful family, both inside and out!! Can't wait to meet you all in person some day, but in the meantime, I will continue enjoying this TR! :heartsmiley:

I am IN!!! Since I lost my 4th of July vacation to John's accident, I already told him I WILL be attending this in February!! :parrot: Well, as long as everything is ok with his health. God willing. And by February, I'm going to NEED this WWW!!!!

Sadly, I have had to cancel my trip over 4th of July. My husband was involved in a serious accident on Thursday evening. (Angie (MrsGus06) has details). He is going to be ok, but he is looking at MONTHS of recovery. Thankfully, he is young, strong and generally in good health. I haven't posted anything on Facebook as per his request. (See? He not only hates Disney, but also Facebook! lol.) I was really looking forward to seeing all of you and meeting a bunch of Fiends I haven't met yet. :'( God willing, I will be down in February for the next WWW.
