I, too, am a Piney. However, I would like to become a southener soon. Living in NJ is getting to be too much. I totally agree, Jim!!

We've only cruised once. It was on Royal Caribbean and we sailed on the Mariner of the Seas. I really enjoyed it. I would love to sail on DCL, but it IS a bit more expensive. I know a couple who only sails on Celebrity. Another friend has cruised 2 or 3 times, but only on Carnival and they loved it. I think it's just a matter of what your preferences are. But, if I were to go again, I would definitely go with at least one other couple. I love my husband dearly, but It proved to be a little too much "together time" for us. LOL. Enjoy!!

Sorry, Rob. I just buy mine. I think I remember my husband getting a recipe from someone several years ago. I will check and see if we still have it.

I love your description of the scene at the slide! I caught myself laughing out loud at my desk. Thankfully no one noticed anything odd about that, though. I would like to think I would have said something to the kid, but I'm afraid, like you, I would have frozen up and gotten out of there also. However, the older I get, the less I care what other people think about what I say. I love people who have no problem speaking up.

I guess this is why they won't serve alcohol in MK. They must be afraid the drunk guests will forget where they are and start tipping the guests dressed like this.

Thanks for the pics! I love that the dogs were enjoying themselves. We camped at Ricketts Glen State Park near there when I was a kid. I would love to go back there again. One of my sweatshirts is at the bottom of the lake there.

Loved your TR, Stef! Sad to see it end. Thank you for writing these and taking all the pics. It's awesome to be able to see the Fort and Fiends, especialy since I can only get there about once a year. It makes it a little easier to have to wait. Well, not really, but you know what I mean.

My first Fort trip was in August of 1981 when I was 12. We had a pop-up. I don't remember what loop, but I remember LOVING :heartsmiley: the Fort. It's funny to think that the only park open then was MK. I think we spent 3 days there! I got the worst sunburn of my life, too. To this day I still have the freckles that resulted from that burn. :banghead:
