  1. I pulled in this morning. Will be here thru Monday morning. Was supposed to be running, but tore my ACL in November, so I'll just be spectating and cheering on family members that are running. I'm in 1718, haven't put my sign out yet. If you see me hanging out, stop by for a beer.
  2. I am hopeful that the worst of it will be past my area (Midland of SC) by tomorrow afternoon so we can start our journey South without issue.
  3. FWIW, I have had a reservation with Kenny for a couple months for our trip next week. Now I have rented from Kenny more times than I can count, he has called me numerous times, he knows exactly who I am when I call, etc. Last week his office finally called my wife because they said the number they had for me was incorrect. I don't know why the change, but maybe they're going through a transition period or something that is causing a bit of confusion. I can say that my small company had similar issues when we transitioned to a new CRM software (Customer Relationship Management). Point being, th
  4. You are correct, John. The folks from the forum that I've had the pleasure to meet are great people. I've had the most interaction with Donny and even rented out his toyhauler for my folks last Christmas. I'm very grateful for the forum and wish I had more time to devote to it. I always proudly display my sign in hopes to put more faces with names, so feel free to say hello if you see me.
  5. Uhh, yeah, talk about an understatement. Sorry, Lou. Truth be told the forum just makes me miss the Fort so much more than usual! I already spend way too much money there, I need more yearning fort desire like I need a hole in the head!
  6. Have had nothing but exceptional customer service from Kenny over the years. Hope this has been worked out.
  7. Well, I know I haven't been active on here in a while, none-the-less I will be at the Fort next week from 6/8 - 6/16. I'll put my sign out, stop by and say hello if you see us!
  8. Are they still working on a fax system? They haven't moved to email yet?
  9. I just have one question, Is Fort Wilderness worth it? * I apologize in advance if you don't get the reference.
  10. Should I email Roz through the "request a quote" link on her site, or is there a direct email address I should use?
  11. Seems we waited to late to book a site for marathon weekend. Should Roz or Judy be able to help us find a ressie?
  12. 12/16 - 12/24, and then again for a few days around Marathon Weekend.
  13. It was nice to meet you too, Bob. The Fort was a well-deserved and appreciated trip. I am currently sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting to get on a plane back over to the sandbox for a few more months. Thanks everyone for the support. I hope to see many of you this summer on my next trip to the Fort.
  14. It seemed like everytime I saw y'all I was either in a hurry or it looked like there was a small party going on at your site that I didnt want to interrupt. Sorry we didnt get a chance to chat. Hopefully we'll be there at the same time again and make up for it.
  15. Jen, I'm so sorry I haven't thanked you before now for my sign. I displayed it proudly for the few days I was at the fort and of course will continue to do so in the future. Thank you for leaving it for me!
  16. I had no idea this was such a hot topic, lol. I guess I can see their purpose, but I didn't see them doing anything other than cruising during my trip. They remind me of more of a neighborhood watch than anything.
  17. No offense to the "Ranger," but he looked a bit past his prime to be enforcing anything.
  18. I have never seen this guy before, the older gentleman on a golfcart with a "Fort Ranger" sign. What exactly is his job? It looks self-proclaimed more than an actual Disney job.
  19. The music has changed a lot, but the show is still great and really the actors make the show what it is. The ones tonight were great and really played to the audience a lot. They added buttered sweet corn to the menu. I don't think they removed anything. The corn was good, heavily buttered. All-in-all it was as good of an experience as always. I still love HDDR.
  20. Lou, sorry I missed you, but thanks for the gift :)
