  1. Nooooo!!!! It can't be over!!!! Those last pictures were good, but you made them so sad with the whole "leaving the cruise" thing. I'll quote my own DD here "Do it again! Do it again!" *sigh*

    Let's Cruise...

OH, and PS - you guys are hysterical... :rofl2: Remind me to always punctuate correctly so no one shows up at an event with a jacket and no shirt, underwear optional...

    Let's Cruise...

Sounds like some excellent lines for princesses on board! DD loves her princesses. Although I haven't met a Belle yet that doesn't remind me of Sandra Bullock. :rofl2: I am actually really looking forward to a Disney vacation where we don't need to jump out of bed to hit rope drop. Or decide on transportation. I'm hoping to just "go with the flow" as much as possible. 2 must-do's for our clan: meet some princesses, play mini golf Going back to the dress code thing - is that just for sit-down restaurants? DH has some nice dress shorts, loafers, etc that definitely are not in the t-shirt
  4. I'm with you - she looks like Little Mermaid! Dave, your girls take the cake on this one! But, I must say I bet you and INC had many laughs together doing yours, too. That's what it's all about...

    Let's Cruise...

Thanks for the edumacation, Jason. Although I won't seek wardrobe help from you, Nikki does have a good question. Should I bring something specific? In addition to the swim suits, flip flips, and tank tops??? I saw that Dave and TCD both dressed for dinner at some point - is there a dress code or certain places to dress well for?

    Let's Cruise...

Thanks for the info - I may be interested in the 5K. DH is not as much a fan of running on sand, but I LOVE to run at the beach. And plus, a nice run will make plenty of room for a big breakfast. Next question: Starboard or Aft? Does it make a difference which side of the boat you are on? And the more important questions - which is which? I need to learn my ship terminology... :rofl2: I just got my stateroom assignment in the mail and it appears we are midship not too far from some elevators. Nice. When you are standing on the ship facing the front, we are on the left side. What do you
  7. Enjoyed your updates!! Yay on getting on the Funnel Vision!! I am on team chicken rotisserie - I think it needs a better head to look like a monkey. I showed it to DD and she said "Is that a turkey?" Loved the buffet pics - and just to reiterate - TURKEY LEGS!!!!! :jumpforjoy :jumpforjoy That's funny that you were posting on International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Our local Dunkin Donuts was giving free donuts in the drive-thru if you talked like a pirate. What a sweet morning with Anna. Have fun camping this weekend! See ya on the flip side...
  8. We first stayed at the Fort in 2010 in a cabin on the 2100 loop - the best cabin loop, I think! We fell in love with the Fort and the next summer we rented a 5th wheel from Donnie and REALLY pretended to be campers! :rofl2: This year, we only got to visit for the day as we stayed at Pop- but in a short time, DD managed to hula hoop, play horseshoes, ride a pony, have a drink (no wait, that was me...), and do a little shopping at the Trading Post. Even if we are not able to stay at the Fort, it will always be a place we set aside time to go and visit awhile and "pretend"!
  9. Love the pics of everyone at dinner - that one of INC and Emma is definitely a keeper! Can grown ups order kid food? I'm with Stef - cheese stix always sound good... :jumpforjoy I love kid food and I never get to eat it. Sloppy Joes, cheese sticks, chicken fingers, fries, mac n chz... kids have got it made
  10. I love that story. Isn't it amazing how much impact travel and experience with loved ones can have on our lives when we are growing up?
  11. Thanks for the info! Well, tell INC thanks! I can't wait to read about Pirate night!
  12. What a fun beach day! I know what you mean about the food. I mean, you may not be hungry but it's THERE... and you don't wanna get hungry later... So, with all the not-touching at the bottom of the slide... it made me think about DD and her swimming skills. Do they have life vests available on the island? She's a pretty good little swimmer, but I might feel better about her plunging into the ocean with a little assistance...and my girl loves a good slide. Great pics!! Can't wait to hear about Pirate Night! :jumpforjoy
  13. Wow - several great updates since I was able to last read!!! So, I made a list... I'm a list maker... First.. on the ladies... 1. Great Tinkerbell - we have seen some rather odd looking ones at WDW 2. Does Aurora always look like she has on a bad wig - or is it just me? Poor girl. 3. Really good Belle – I think she usually tends to resemble Sandra Bullock 4. Glad you and SW made up - maybe it will stick since she's gotten to meet those sweet girls of yours! 5. Love the family pic with Minnie! 6. Your pictures are so good – I'm so glad you bought them ALL - I'm going to budget plenty for
  14. Bob used to lose his dangly tag with our info ALL the time. On occasion, he would get out of the yard (thanks to careless service people leaving gates open). One time, we hadn't yet realized he had lost his tag. Luckily, we live in a very close knit neighborhood and lots of friendly dogs here. We found a neighbor sitting with him in her driveway (quite some time and heart palpitations later). He had lost the dangly tag AGAIN. Thank heavens for his friendly nature and affection for women. :heartsmiley: Went to pet store and discovered metal tags that you hammer directly into the collar -
  15. You guys are right - healing comes in unexpected places. Of course, I will never underestimate the power of Big Sky again. I do think the sky really is bigger there... I totally forgot to post about the cold weather - that is crazy! I would not have expected it to get quite THAT cold! brrrrr!!!
  16. The food looks fabulous! So, Enchanted Garden and Cabanas are both open for breakfast and lunch? Why do you think folks will choose one over the other? I'm impressed with Izzy's adventurous eating! Maybe I will be able to do that, too. We used to go to this Chinese/Thai/Japanese/Korean buffet a lot and I used to play "Fear Factor" with some of the more crazy looking stuff! I'm a dork, I know. So glad you found your camera! And I agree that your pics are money well spent! You just never know when you'll get such great pics of EVERYONE at the same time again! Plus, it is a special time

    Let's Cruise...

Snorkeling equipment sounds interesting... although DD will probably hijack my underwater camera... she's quite the photog lately. And yes, TCD, I am insane. Well maybe just a little nutso will do it. I  paddleboats, for some odd reason. Of course, I'm the crazy person who doesn't necessarily follow the rules on those things. But, if it's such a small space, perhaps there will be no room for tomfoolery. :rofl2: Maybe we will stick to crab races and bicycles... What's the deal with the 5K? Do they do that on every trip?
  18. Ok, so I finally get caught up at work. I have 10 min left of lunch until my next class comes in... I sit down, crack my knuckles, pop open a Coke Zero and settle in for some TR reading... and then it happens... apparently our filtering system figured out FF.net... it is now blocked as a social interaction site... dang! Last year it was just "unknown" and I got to bypass the filter. Had to wait until tonight to catch up! SO, enjoyed the frosty beverage pictures! The pics of Anna in the porthole are too cute too! I am going to steal your plan of riding Aquaduck when everyone else is going
  19. Oh, your pictures have me in tears! Years ago, about a month after DH1 passed away, my BF was working for a company that was doing a "family trip" to Yellowstone. She took me as her "family" because she knew I needed some healing and that was the only way she knew to help. Help, it did. That was the trip when I realized that being out in God's country is my thin place. I spent a lot of time crying, soul-searching, and gaping at the beautiful scenery. It really makes you understand how beautiful this world is, and how small you are in the scheme of things. I cannot wait to take my family o
  20. I like the way you are doing it, too. You can always say "Hey, I'd really like to spend more time HERE one day..." Thanks for the doc - very cool!
  21. Great pics! Gwen has got such a photogenic face and smile - you better watch out! She's gonna apply for ANTM if you don't watch it... :panic: I'm loving the idea of crab legs - I love them! I was looking at the plates, and I think mine would look most like INC's. And I know you did not eat the salad, but I hope you got a pic of that portion of the bar? When I'm on vacation, it makes me feel better to eat a salad when I can with my lunch. You know, it balances out the funnel cake intake...speaking of which - were there any funnel cakes?
  22. Lovin' Stella's haircut - very cute and very "now". ;D And I think creamer-stackn' rules We are contemplating a tablet to use as a portable movie/Kidz Bop/game playing device on the road. Good to hear your thoughts - we are leaning toward the Droid as well. Love the plankin' - can I plank on the Pilot? HJC - hey Nikki LOVE the henna phone number idea! Can't wait to see more!!!!
