Okay, for a parade! Do you all have the song playing? If you need help, click here:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tLfsi9Cz_68
Now that you are properly in the mood, here are the photos. By the way, this was a great place to watch the parade, but not so good for photos.
As you can see, not great photos, but still a beautiful day at Disney. But then I watched this and remember how special Disney can be.
Wasn’t that adorable? I talked to her parents after the parade and emailed them the photos.
I’ll post a few more parade photos in the next update.

Again, loving the comments!! Thanks so much for reading along.
After the trolley show, we headed for FantasyLand and rode Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid. Sarah was chosen to be the Keeper of the Red Card. High honor, indeed!
It was a hot day, so some refreshment seemed in order. Do you remember theCoke bottles that say, “Share a Coke with Fernando” or some other random name? Well, these are what they sold in the Magic Kingdom.
Next was Jungle Cruise.
And then Haunted Mansion. Note the card Sarah was wearing. Yes, She was chosen again.
Time for a Mickey bar!
Then we found a place on the Hub to watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade.
Except I need to get some sleep, so I will start with the parade tomorrow.

Sorry these updates are sporadic. My work schedule is chaotic and that spills over into the rest of my life. Very hard for a die-hard planner!
I also need to say that Ed and Rita are amazing hosts. We felt so welcome and at home! They spoiled us and we loved it!!
Also, I missed a photo from the previous night. Not as cool as I hoped, but kinda neat.
So, we have said a tearful goodbye to Wishes. The next morning, Sarah and I got up early to meet Gretchen for Rope Drop at Epcot. Does that mean more Spaceship Earth photos? Of course! These were taken by a PhotoPass
Photographer.
We went and rode Soarin’ and then Gretchen, knowing the breakneck pace we intended to keep, decided to head out.
Sarah and I went to meet Joy and Sadness.
Then we hopped to MK. The poster had already been changed, so we got some pictures.
Then we made some fastpasses.
The door was ajar, so I got a picture of the trolley.
I hadn’t remembered my hat, so we went shopping. After buying one, we had lunch at Casey’s. I decided a picture of my new hat was needed.
More shopping
Including Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe
Then we stumbled onto a Muppet show!
Anyone know if they still do those?
Next, we saw a Trolley Show. (Lots of back and forth across the park that day)
There are a lot more of those. I kept trying to get a good picture and ended up with lots of awkward ones. This is probably the best one.
But it was a beautiful day and I was at my favorite place, so what did I care?
Lots more to cover from that day. Hope to do another update soon.

Well ,we are in a new year, time to set a new record, can you beat the three trip year?
Yes those crowds are NOT my cup of tea, years gone by maybe, but not now. Stupid old age [emoji14]
I had a trip planned for late February, but not sure I am going to be able to make it work. The friend I was going with has had to back out, so now I am seeing if I can find someone else to share lodging costs.
Anyone up for splitting a value room 2/26-3/2?

Do you have any more crowd photos from the last Wishes? The TCD twins were in that crowd about halfway between your spot and the castle.
TCD
I wish I did but that is it. I asked Sarah, but hers were on her iPhone, which died. :-(

How were the lines at Dollywood? Are there enough rides for the Coaster-phobic? Not me. The WWW cure me of that. But my youngest is still traumatized from EE three years ago.

Thank you, Sherry! I have been enjoying your pictures on Facebook!
Gretchen, we need to load you up with coffee so you can keep up with us. I also always plan a day right after a Disney trip to just sit in my recliner and do nothing!
Thanks for liking my photos Cortzcapt! I like them most because they remind me of being there.
So when we last left our intrepid explorers, we were outside the Emporium. We went in to do some browsing. I found some earrings I adored and planned to get later that trip. Unfortunately, I never made it back there that trip.
At one point, we were near a door and glanced out. The street, which had looked normal when we went in, was now wall to wall people. It was still more than an hour until Wishes!
Sarah and I decided we needed to go stake our claim for a spot. Gretchen said the crowds were too much for her comfort, so she headed out
Sarah and I found a place not too far from the large clock. This was our view:
Looking back toward the railroad station:
One more crowd photo
Wishes was everything I remembered it to be. We cried as did most of the crowd. I didn’t take any pictures. I just wanted to enjoy it one more time. I still play the soundtrack sometimes and sing along.
After Wishes, most of the crowd wanted to leave. If I recall correctly, Sarah and I went back in the Emporium and found a table in the back corner of Casey’s.
Eventually, the crowd thinned and we were able to walk through the castle to FantasyLand. I took this picture, but is the last one from that night.
I know this was a super short update. Hopefully, I can do another one later. Thanks for reading along!

Let’s see if I can get an update done before church.
At some point last spring, Sarah and I heard very sad news. Disney was going to replace our beloved Wishes with a different fireworks show. We were huge Wishes fans. Sarah had bought the CD of the soundtrack and could sing along to the whole thing. It made us cry every time we watched it. And it was going away, probably forever!
We decided to do what any sane, rational ladies would do when faced with such heartbreaking news; we plans to go to Disney!
This would be a quick trip. We would drive down May 11th to see the last night of Wishes, then see the first night of Happily Ever After the next day, and drive home the day after that.
We also decided that this would be a low budget trip, so rather than staying on property, we asked Rita and Ed if we could stay with them. They said yes! Let the planning begin!!
We had a great drive down and found their house. They elected not to come with us to MK, but Gretchen met us and joined us for a bit before the crowds got huge.
First pictures are from the tunnel under the railroad station.
Note the matching shirts. Are we cute, or what?
Sarah warned me that the Emporium windows are hard to photograph well. But that didn’t stop me from trying.
Ack! Time to leave for church. I guess that is it for this update!

Note the purple hat on Grumpy. I always knew he was a Fort Fiend!

I’m glad Yvonne can keep everything straight. When did we see Rivers of Light?
Thanks to Yvonne, I now know why these next pictures were from Wilderness Lodge. As she said, we went to Geyser Point on Sunday.
After lunch, we took a bus to Animal Kingdom.
One random shot from somewhere in AK
And more Safari photos
Then we went to MK, thank you Yvonne for remembering, and rode Carousel of Progress.
This is the last photo from that trip. It may have even belonged earlier in the trip. Facebook has not kept my photos in order. But it is a great photo. Be sure to notice the necklace Yvonne made!
When we left Disney World that Monday, we thought we wouldn’t be back until WWW 2018. But we were very blessed to go again in the Spring. More on that in the next update.

Okay, I know I have been slacking on the updates. The truth is, I remember some things we did that I don’t seem to have photos for. So I’m not sure when they were done.
So a slight picture-less detour. Maybe some of the other WW can help fill in the gaps.
I know we went to Geyser Point for lunch one day. This was when it was fairly new. We ordered at a window and were told we could find seats and they would bring our food to us. We found some tables between Geyser Point and the Wilderness Lodge pool. Some of us got our food after a bit of a wait. Some waited way too long for food. We complained and ended up with some fastpasses added to our Magic Bands.
I remember that some used the fastpasses for EE in AK. And I remember that there was confusion as to when and where we were re-uniting after they rode EE.
What I don’t remember is what day all that happened. It could have been the day I was sharing in my last update. So I will finish off our time in AK with a few random photos.
Also, since this part of the TR is already odd, here is a photo of Sarah and me at the Florida Welcome Center on our way down to WWW.
My next photos are from Epcot. Did we park hop? Was this the next day? Anyway, here I am in Germany meeting Snow White.
Then it was time for our ADR at Biergarten.
And, of course, a Spaceship Earth photo.
Then it looks like we hopped to MK for Wishes. I am not good at night time photos. Sorry.
Hey look! We rode Haunted Mansion!
And then Small World!
And Dumbo!
I am so blessed!
This is, um, well, an elephants other side.
Hands up!
I believe we were hoping to jump in the Mine Train queue just before park close, but the ride was down so they had closed the queue for the night early.
Finally leaving the park.
Can I squeeze in a 31st photo?
Night all!

Loved the videos! Anna’s smiles are infectious!

So, moving right along. After leaving Epcot, we went back to the Fort. We headed to the Settlement.
And took a boat to the Contemporary.
And caught a monorail
Over to the Poly. We met up with Kelly and some of her friends at Trader Joe’s.
By the time we left Trader Joe’s, the resort boat was no longer running. We walked over to the TTC.
We found the nice cast member in charge of directing where all the buses park for the night. We explained our plight and he finagled a bus ride back to the Fort for us. :)
The next morning, Gretchen drove some of over to Animal Kingdom.
Not far from the entrance, we saw this cast member feeding these birds.
Next, we went on the Safari.
It’s hard to see, but there are hyenas in the next photo.
Giraffe!
And lots of other animals
More about our day at AK in the next update.

Great pictures!
I may be wrong, but I think you can include more than 20 photos in a post now.
Thanks, and good to know. Maybe I will try for thirty next update.

I agree about fast passing Frozen Ever After, although as you are about to see, the stand-by line a cute feature. The line goes through Oaken’s Trading Post. The window to the sauna is fogged over, but drawings appear from time to time. You may also see someone in the sauna peering out.
Some more photos from Norway.
Then, we were off to Mexico, where I took this okay picture.
And this pretty bad one.
Did I mention that I love Spaceship Earth photos?
That’s nineteen photos. Here is a random one from the first day, just to make you smile.

I am still loving the responses!! It is very encouraging to know that people are actually reading my jumbled thoughts. :-D
So, we had gotten to Epcot. This was during the International Arts Festival. What does one do at an International Arts Festival? One paints by number.
This picture has Carol in the background
Here is Gretchen
Two of Yvonne
And one of most of the canvas
I also loved the vest the cast members were wearing for the festival
It was a gorgeous day at Epcot
There were already some topiaries up for the soon to start Flower and Garden Festival
There were also food booths. I don’t remember what this was or where I got it, but I remember that it was yummy.
Some Norway pavilion photos
Some of us decided to ride Frozen Ever After. I believe Sarah was selected to carry the coveted Red Card.
I’m already over 20 photos. Hoping I can post this. More soon!

Interesting similarity between these two photos. You obviously like interwoven patterns.
Actually, that is my hair. I think I had someone take a picture so I could see how it looked. LOL

Still following along. I have not been to a Disney waterpark. In fact, I have been to one small local waterpark and that is the extent of my waterpark experience.
I think breakfast involved Tonga Toast.

I love all the responses and would love to respond to each individually. But I have no clue how to multi-quote on Tapatalk, so I am just going to push on with the TR.
So I left off as we arrived at the Magic Kingdom. We decided to have dinner at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. A first for me!
Heading into Tomorrowland, here is Sarah being adorable.
And a general picture I thought might be Instagram worthy.
Sorry. No pood forn. I just remember I had something with fries.
After dinner, we found a rather odd spot to watch the projection show and Wishes.
A side view of the castle
Waiting for Wishes (aka Womenz bring Womenz.
After dinner, we headed back to Tomorrowland.
I don’t think we rode any rides that night.
I took this in a store window. (I think)
As I recall, we went to bed early-ish that night. I know I had gotten up at o’dark-thirty and was pretty tired.
During the night, Jen and Yvonne joined us.
The next morning found us sitting and chatting.
There must have been a short trip to a trading post.
We rode the bus to the Outpost.
And rode a bus to Epcot! Fair warning. I like photos of Spaceship Earth.
I’m just about at 20 photos, so I will pick things up here next time.
Two things. #1 I really love going back through these pictures and remembering the fun I had. I highly recommend writing Trip reports!
#2 I don’t take as many photos as some others, do I am posting just about all the pictures I took. The good, the bad, and the totally bizarre. Like this one.

I was inspired by DIT’s Trip report. I thought I would try to post some pictures and thoughts of my own. It’s been an interesting year, but three trips to visit Mickey have made me very happy.
The first trip was for WWW, which was in February. Sarah and I had a fairly uneventful drive down. We stopped at the Character Warehouse on the way. Pretty soon, we saw this.
And then this.
And then this.
Pretty soon, we were doing what WW do best.
We helped put up a tent.
And then headed to the Marina.
Pictures from the boat to MK
Monorail!
Magic Kingdom!
I’ll hopefully have another update soon!

I’m in! Late, but all caught up. Loved Geyser Point when the WW went last February, though they had trouble getting all our food to us.
A Disney cruise is fo shizzle on my bucket list.
I hope to try the Territory Lounge soon.
As soon as I saw the dog, I wondered how it got to Castaway Cay. Surely, I hoped, they hadn’t let someone bring a pet on a cruise ship.
Can’t wait to read more!

My father, an insurance risk analyst, always said that there is no way to stop the determined professional. So we had locks on all our doors and windows to prevent the impulsive amateur, but also in the hopes that the professional would choose to go on to the next house which might have less locks.
Maybe the safety measures at Disney won’t stop everyone. But it could stop the amateurs just seeking to make a name for themselves.

STROLLER PARKING
in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Posted
When we were still in the stroller days, I would buy a large, pre-tied ribbon and attach it to the handle of the stroller. This made finding it much easier.
