DaddysCoolTV replied to H in SC's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Yep, that's what we did a couple of weeks ago. Went through the guard, went through check in, and then to the overflow lot and they sent me a text message with my site # about noon. :rofl2: -

I really loved that sign, they were one of the last sites in the 100 loop. I would love to get one but not sure how or where they got it from... -

DaddysCoolTV replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in Dining Reviews and Information
Yep I know it very well, we always stop there every time we go and get the "Himezen" it's really good but $$$ $10 a glass, and I believe $60 a bottle... -
OK I just got back from the Fort for 10 days and now I have a new most aggravating thing that people do. PLEASE use the hook and unhook area to unload your stuff. I understand that people tow cars behind your motorhome and trailer you golfcart or put them in your toy hauler. But do not drive through your loop and start to unhook it or unload it in front of your site and block the whole loop for 15-20 mins. I watched this happen probably 5 or 6 times this past week.. Please the unhook area is there for a reason... USE IT!! Or use the overflow lot. OK I am better now thanks!!!!! :dropja

Requesting a loop
DaddysCoolTV replied to ~Kristina~'s topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Personally, I think the 100, 200, and 300 loops are to tight for all of the stuff we bring. -
Requesting a loop
DaddysCoolTV replied to ~Kristina~'s topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
I usually call 7 days before check in. I always request a site and a loop if the site is not available. Sorry no suggestions for 100 or 200 loop usually don't stay in those. -
Let's Build A Mickey Light Post!
DaddysCoolTV replied to AuburnChris's topic in Crafting: Camping and beyond
I used the cutting bit with the attachment that screws on to the dremel and makes it like a mini router. So it has a solid surface to hold against the globe. This is how they looked after cutting. This is the attachment I used: -

I used a dremel to do both of mine Mickey light post. I just traced the outside of the globe and then cut the inside of the line and sanded very carefully to get the holes the perfect size.
