The Disney reservation system is a joke as far as I'm concerned. It's such a PITA, you have to book way more days than you want to get what you want luckily they only want a deposit = to the highest rate. I have started using a travel agent and has worked out very well and I usually get rates much cheaper than I can if I do it online. The past 2 times using a agent I have gotten a premium site cheaper than I had a full-hookup for. :banana:

Does anyone know what sites are on either side of the walkway from the group camping? Maybe I'm wrong I think it is the 900 loop or is it 800 that the walkway is in? I'm calling today to request a site and I don't want to request either one of the sites that the walkway goes by.

Exactly! I've had to tell them several times that we don't pay a fee for the campsites. One lady kept arguing with me and I finally asked her if she would go ask a supervisor. She came back and told me that I don't pay the fee...I think that was what I was telling her all along! Yep, sounds like we had the same lady. She did the same thing...."uummm let me put you on hold and I will go check"..

yes, on the campsites they do waive the $95 fee. But you need to watch them because the last resie I made DVC the lady tried to charge me the $95 fee.

I for one hope that they do open a DVC campground. I am a DVC member and like all members have a lot of $$$ wrapped up in points. I love using my points at the Fort but it is so hard to get a resie on points. But if they did open a DVC campground that is the only way I will buy more points.
