So do they offer discounts for employees?

There are Cast Member discounts listed in the portal, but from what I've heard from other cast they are pretty much limited to low reservation times to fill spots. So to stay there long term, you need to make 30 day reservations way in advance, link them together, and then keep looking through the portal to see if you can get some discounts for some of those days, and then work your existing reservations around for the times you can find cast discounts.

  2. My oldest son did Dive Quest back in 2004. He LOVED it. We were able to see him in the aquarium during his dive. If they are under 18, a parent or guardian has to be there with them at checkin right outside the park to sign the waiver, then you can enter the park, and if I remember correctly, they were in the tank about 1/2 hour later. We have the video somewhere (or my  son does, we did some purging and giving away during the move).

  3. Yes, there is a 3-way stop where the sidewalk to the Settlement begins. He could drive up there, ya'll hop out at the 3-way stop, then he could turn at the stop sign and head back to the cabins. The safest way would be to go right at the four-way stop towards 1600-1900 loops, curve around past 100-300 loops, then ya'll could hop out on the right straight to the sidewalk, then he could turn left, straight down the center road, then straight at the 4-way back to the cabins.

  4. I think the WWWssss, should take a side trip to do this next year 🙂

    Royal Palm Railway Experience

Crawling through the endless – why, they seem positively "Ultimate" – construction zones along I-4 is enough to make any commuter long for a return to an era before interstate highways. For the next best thing, make your way to Tavares and board the Royal Palm Railway Experience. Vintage diesel-driven 1950s passenger trains, outfitted with air conditioning and domed observation windows, make regular departures from the recently renovated Wooton Park terminal along the "Golden Triangle" to shopping and entertainment districts in Mount Dora and Eustis. Round-trip tickets for a standard ride cost under $15 per adult ($10 for kids), while special family-friendly holiday seasonal experiences with entertainment themed around The Polar Express will run you $38-$64. Adults will be more interested in weekly dining events like Saturday's BBQ Limited ($28) or monthly alcohol events such as Rails & Ales ($40) and the Royal Wine Limited ($50). Spend your 70-minute journey into the past sipping or supping, while you soak in the Old Florida scenery and shake your fist at what Eisenhower's infrastructure investments hath spawned.thefloridatrain.com

Thanks for all the  replys. Everybody is fine. It is actually a tire blow out that did interior damage  on top of the outside damage. And since it knocked a couple of walls lose there afraid there is structural damage and they decided it would be better to just total it. I was shocked at first but the more I thought about it they are probably right.

Many of my T@B friends are so concerned about putting their spare on the tongue versus where it is mounted underneath because they don't want to crawl under to retrieve it after a flat. I just can't seem to convince them, that leaving it under the trailer is fine, because if they have a blowout, they won't be crawling under their trailer to retrieve the spare, they will be waiting on a flatbed tow truck because it won't be towable any more with the body damage.

  6. Kentucky - Indiana Bridge Question.... We drove to Indiana by way of I-65 over the weekend and stayed on the main bridge which, I "think" from the signs was a toll bridge. It had no toll booths, so I believe we'll get a bill based on our tag(s). Anybody have any experience with this? We don't have an EZ-Pass, but do have a SunPass, and I just checked that account, and no activity.

Do you know if there was a rally in northern Michigan a couple of weeks back?   We passed several Tab and similar units in Petoskey.  And I know I've seen that matching blue and white setup before.... where are they from?

Yes, there was something called Tearstock in Michigan weekend before last. It was sponsored by Little Guy and Liberty Outdoors. Little Guy used to be the marketing arm for Pleasant Valley Teardrop trailers, (the  builder of T@Bs and T@Gs). In April of 2017, Little Guy and Pleasant Valley parted ways, and Pleasant Valley started their own marketing company for their products (NuCamp). Tearstock used to be the event for all Little Guy/Pleasant Valley trailers. Now Pleasant Valley/NuCamp hosts their own event called uCamp. Some T@B folks still attend the Tearstock event, and this year since the dates were back to back and the events were relatively close together, some folks attended both Tearstock (in Michigan) and uCamp (in Ohio). My leave balance was not enough to attend a week long event in Ohio, but this other teardrop event in Indiana fell in my lap.

I believe the matching blue and white folks are from Indiana.

  8. We went to a teardrop gathering in Indiana over the weekend. We were at Spring Mill State Park in Mitchell, IN. Lovely little campground. The best thing was no cell signal, no WiFi, and the TV antenna couldn't pull in any channels!! A totally unplugged weekend!!

  9. Technically the partial hookups are supposed to be for popups, campervans, and tents. Having said that, they have 50 Amp, 30 Amp plugs, have water, and cable. They do NOT have sewer, and there is not a dump station at the Fort. The driveways are much shorter than the other loops. I have seen everything from tents to teardrops, to hybrids, to motorhomes in those loops. If you use online checkin and get your site number before arrival and just park in the site, more than likely not a word will be said.

Alternatively, why not try and have a great travel agent work on upgrading you to a full hookup site for your dates. I recommend [email protected] to work on getting you the upgraded site. Then cancel your other site when you have your dates.
