  1. In 1500 The comfort station is right next to site 1503, so any site from 1501 - 1508 is very close to the comfort station. The loop is small with only 21 sites so, you are not too far. There are 2 comfort stations in the 2000 loop. There is one in the middle of the loop. Site 2020 is right across the pathway to that central comfort station. There is also some sights around 2040 that is close that comfort station. The other comfort station is near the end of the loop and right near the bus stop, so the higher numbers, 2059, 2060, are closer to that comfort station.
  2. I think the biggest problem with trip reports is the huge increase in Photobucket's pricing. They were the easiest to use Photo hosting and linking service. Nothing else since has compared.
  3. For me, we've actually lost some interest in Disney and the Fort. The uptick in prices, the fact that we can no longer buy an annual pass at present, and the pandemic, has put a damper on our enthusiasm for things Disney. (Especially since we just traveled cross country for three weeks, for less than a week at the Fort)
  4. I'm just now catching this. Yes, only having a few days worth of tickets stinks! I really hope they bring new Annual Passes back. I hope WDW doesn't go the way California is doing.
  5. WooHoo!! Reason to sit on the beach in the evenings πŸ™‚
  6. Yes they do πŸ™‚ That's one of the reasons I'm saving up to spend a fortune at the factory to have mine refurbed from the frame up and new floor. I like the heavier frame, and front platform and bins, but don't want an Alde, Bath, cassette toilet or the new Air8 air conditioner.
  7. I added those hatches. I don't have a furnace so have the under bench space. I also don't have the front bin or plastic tub. The frame on mine doesn't have room for a front tub.
  8. Actually I do πŸ™‚ The power cords go in this hatch under the bench. The water hoses go inside this hatch under the bench The coax goes in the small inside cabinet above the TV πŸ™‚
  9. I always carry 50' of power cord, 50' foot of cable coax, 75' of water hose, and 25' of sewer hose.
  10. Hope you enjoy your stay! Do you still have an Annual Pass? Or did you have to buy regular tickets? Is that why you have the fewer park days?
  11. 1500 Loop is small, has a comfort station close, and a bus stop right there. To get to Epcot from 1500, take the Yellow Outpost bus to the front parking lot, then the Epcot bus. To return to your campsite, take the Yellow Settlement from the front parking lot. If you get Loop 2000, then you'll take the Orange/Purple bus from your loop.. Outpost to get to the bus stop/settlement to get back to your campsite. The fort will take you and your stuff to your site in a Van. The luggage service on Magical Express is no longer in service. I haven't used the luggage transfer to
  12. Looks like a good plan. I agree, especially during Food and Wine, parking hopping is essential. Except for Star Wars, folks are saying Studios can be accomplished if you arrive around 3pm. BUT in order to get that elusive Rise of Resistance boarding group, you have to try at 10 and then again at 2pm.
  13. Stitch was awful, I rode Primeval Whirl exactly once, and only because I found a FP for it on the ground. Waaaay to spinny for my taste. Rivers of Light was just eh, and a huge time drain, and crowd nightmare (especially with 2 shows).
  14. My first trip to the Fort in 2001 was $20 a night for a partial. Up until about 2010, we could get the Fort for under $50 a night except for very high Holiday season. It all started falling apart and getting stupid expensive when they put in the Premium sites.
  15. Just a quick weekend up to Defeated Creek for myself, Yvonne, and Jenn. Thanks Yvonne for booking!!!! Good conversation, good 'shine, no drama, lots of laughter πŸ™‚ (Yvonne and Jen were in a tent in the other corner of the site)
  16. although I haven't looked, I bet their uptick is waaaaay below what Florida is currently experiencing.
  17. You could purchase regular tickets through Jason, then upgrade upon arrival.
  18. I totally/completely have no desire to return at this point. I do have a hotel reservation booked for Oct, but if our kids can't join us, (because they had not booked yet, and may not be able to book) AND they are in a state with a 2-week quarantine when entering FL. Also, we can't buy tickets at this time, so most likely will cancel. The no park hopping and reservation system really stinks. My plan was to go early in the morning and hit the attractions I wanted to see at rope drop (at Studios, AK, and MK), then late afternoon, troll food booths at Epcot. We are purely, hunt and peck type trav
  19. Also check out campgroundreviews.com The folks that have placed reviews there, seem to rate it pretty highly. I am thinking about staying there for a night on a trip out west. There are also recent guest pictures on the campground reviews site. https://www.campgroundreviews.com/regions/oklahoma/oklahoma-city/twin-fountains-rv-park-6131
  20. Although it's expensive, the remote power mover is worth the price!!!
  21. Just watched Pixar in Real Life Shorts.... Very funny and cute πŸ™‚
