we went thru Nebraska at night. we hit omaha around dinner time and the rest was dark... so, other than Rob-i don't remember much about it. lol glad you are tucked in bed for the night. cheyenne on out should be awesome! happy trails to you....

stop at stall #2 to give rob a hug--if you are going thru there. :) glad to hear chi-town was a breeze. you hit it right and it is not a problem. but, you did have to pay more to go through there. raised the toll fees as of jan. 1st. i wonder if the roads are better with the higher fees... :clint: drive safe and yes, stay warm...

i never even noticed the number until i posted it on here. lol it was tempting to go home but, we had them time off and wanted to make the most of it. i think we succeeded.. :rofl2: thanks--not a disney trip--but, what kind of sucked was we went right by disneyland on our way to my folks. i told ma "we passed up disneyland just to see you".. her response "you could of called me - i would of meet you there." yes, we are a disney family through and through... :hugsmiley:

i hope you chi-town at a good time! middle of the night is all that works for us. lol We never made it to Washington. Hardly spent enough time in Oregon. Take lots of photos and keep the tr coming. We want to see most of what you are seeing. Drive safe and keep us updated. we're waiting to know you got thru chi-town.

we've used our roof mounted one in the mh and always got a signal-- without any problems. we also have a sep. dish with a tripod-which we will now be using again with the t/c. we used to use this in the previous t/c's and also always got our signal.

that sounds like an excellent idea. but, who brought the alcohol? was it a drinking cruise on the way over and back?

I almost forget--we also broke in the truck over Christmas. Yup-turned the 100.000 mile mark...woo hoo! We've had her from 0 to 100,000. This is probably the longest we have had a vehicle. She's been good to us and deserves a bath, oil change and tire rotation... Hope she enjoys it!

I think we got out of the snowy states just in time. We stopped at one truck stop and a trucker was in there saying that the roads right now are "a truckers dream"... We couldn't agree more. :) They really are some of the best trips...

Wednesday we go through Kansas City and Missouri. We see there is a restaurant called the “Toot Toot” and thought about daveintn. Lol We get into Iowa and finally Wisconsin. We had to stop for a nap before making the last 2 hours. When we got up it was pretty wet and we figured it would be icy. We got into Madison and there were at least 3 cars spun out in the median. One was on its side and the other 2 people were standing outside the cars. We know better than to stop so we called 911. They were sending squads out. We got home and found out a guy fell from a bridge when he stopped

I believe this is Kansas City. I can't remember this one. Might be Missouri? A river boat.. these are cool to go on. It's been a while but they are fun! Duke decided he needed to help guide us home.

This is just on the way out of Arizona. When leaving Arizona you are probably going to run into this...check points. I don't know what determines who they are going to stop. But, we are normally just waved thru.

So, come Monday we tell them we are heading out. Mom doesn’t believe us. We have to get home because Jeff has to work and it has been a long trip. Mission #2 has been a success and we have completed our Christmas Travels..well for the most part. So, we get to Phoenix and call DH’s niece who lives there. We meet up with her and her phoenix family for dinner. I tried to get a hold of another friend but, she isn’t around so we missed her. It was great seeing his niece and knowing that she is taken care of by a great family there. She just up and moved when she was 19-ish. She didn't know
