devils lake state park has some really nice trails-if you feel like doing some hiking. :) the lake is very popular for scuba diving. http://www.parkmaps.com/USA/Wisconsin/State/devilslake/details.htm some interesting reviews. http://www.yelp.com/biz/devils-lake-state-park-baraboo we really enjoy this state park. the dells in general is just too touristy but, the state parks really rock! :)

the problem is i can't get them to open on the lap top. like i don't have a program to open them??

i have scal 2. i didn't reload the design studio and scal is cutting just fine on my cricut. so, for now - i am just going to leave the laptop with scal and only cut with that. i am a little paranoid of adding the ds since i have to call to have them get it back on the computer. i just don't know why some of the images aren't opening and can't remember how to get them to open. i remember this being an issue before and i figured it out. guess i'll just keep trying. :)

lol-lorna... i did have to reload it but, i didn't do any upgrades-so, i think i will be okay. i will try it and let you know. if it doesn't work the cricut is going up for sale and i will get a different cutter. but i think it will be okay. holly, i remember it wasn't like you think it should be. now that you say that-i think you're right. it isn't difficult-just different.

after having some puter problems-i have re-loaded SCAL. now i just have to remember how to use it. it's been almost a year since i cut with it on the cricut. it should still work because i didn't do any upgrades. i still need to load my design studio but, i have to call that one in on monday to get them to let me register it. it will probably take me all night to figure out how to use SCAL again. i can't open a few images-i think it is when they are in bit (?). the computer doesn't recognize it. guess i will be visiting youtube this weekend. :)

The problem I find with couponing is that the coupons are almost always the same. deoderant, laundry soap, baby stuff, air fresheners, etc... with just the two of us I did the couponing thing for about 6 months. I have enough deoderant for at least a year or so. Laundry soap is stocked up fairly good. Baby stuff and air fresheners are tossed. As of now I have decided to quite the couponing because I just don't need anymore of this stuff. It was alright while I was doing it. But, found that I spent more to buy things that had a coupon and got things I wouldn't normally want or need. Ye

normally x-pens come with stakes to put into the ground.. we have a lot of x pens.. 2 - 24" and 2 bigger ones. watch craigslist- every now and then you will find them on there. they are in the camper all the time/other than when we use them for the bichon bash-then they are used as gates. i know that pet co and such stores are way more money than you can find them on line. drs foster and smith are too much too. but, i can't remember where i bought them. i know one we got on craigslist and another we got at a rummage sale. the others i bought new.

the chicken is a go... love using the dehydrator for this. awesome treats for the pups. i had to make one adjustment--make the pieces a little bigger. certain pups were just swallowing the whole piece. after dehydrating the chicken i would put it in the oven about 1/2 hr at 175--just to be safe and froze any extra strips i made. today we are trying to make dehydrated sweet potato sticks.. i found a few different ways to make them. i decided to blanch them first and then dehydrate. we'll see tomorrow how they turn out!
