And the hits just keep on coming!
I'm going to need longer poles...
or several short russians.
-
...... I do know there is nothing worse than coming up short with the hose when hooking up.
And that is why I carry two 25 foot hoses. Have never needed more than 50 feet but often need more than 25, and two 25s are easier to carry, store and manage.

How will Lou survive? ... :rofl3:
Probably by riding IASW over and over and over....

+ many for Jason!
He saved a lot of work and solved a lot of headaches for us.
I don't ever plan to do it without his help again.

ONe further note: I attach mine to the faucet end of the hose. At a campground many years ago the pressure was so high it split my (admitedly old) hose.
And I have had the regulator break, so I carry a spare. Cheap insurance, avail at walmart.

Good question...I can't give you a definitive answer, because I automatically use one everywhere, including the Fort.
But more technically minded folks will no doubt be here shortly!

We like Grayton Beach State Park as well. The older section has more "private" sites, as the vegetation has been established, but it is all nice. Good bath houses and lots to do in the area.

A lot depends on what kind of bearings you have. I am a fan personally of taking the wheel off and getting lots of grease worked into both sets of bearings, inner and outer, but I am told there are some styles that can be done with a grease gun without removing the wheel. If the cost is $45 per wheel to do it, that is pretty cheap insurance to have it done right, if you trust the mechanic.
There are others here with more expertise than me, and I am sure they will be along shortly!

and dont forget to check the wheel bearings.
dont ask how I got that one burned into my wee brain!

x2 re Santee.
I went to High School there when the Santee Lakes were just getting started, (many, many years ago), and they have done a great job with them.

ahhh...today? the first of April, right?
:rofl3:

ahhh, the days of the Hootenanny!
now known as the geriatric woodstock.

Dont have any experience with them, but congrats and welcome!

Speaking of gas stations, depending on how large of a trailer you got, find out exactly how tall you are and make sure you check for clearance at gas stations and lower bridges (a good idea is to simply write it down on a piece of tape and stick it on your dash, that way when you are driving, you don't need to think about it; if you see a sign that says " 10' 8" " clearance, you just look down at your note rather than trying to remember how tall you are.
Great idea!
Will do this! Thanks.

and you can really have some fun with your neighbors if you name your router "Surveillance Van 14" !!!

Slow and easy, and have fun!!

Just make sure you get one large enough to handle your tank, you can use smaller but plan on being there as you drain into it so it won't overflow. When you take it to empty you can tow it off of your hitch ball, remember it will be heavy and you don't want to be that new guy who makes a STINKY mistake. :rofl2:
but if you do make that mistake, be sure to take pictures! :dropjaw:

Hey, he's from Mississippissippisipsi. Did I spell that right?
It's one of those words like banananana...I know how to spell it, I just don't know when to quit.

So it is not true that all drains lead to the sea?
:flush2:
Well, it is a tent.
