Ok, this just in. WDW is being moved to Canada. And like everything in Canada, you'll never hear of it again.

It's like a black hole up there. What the heck do they do in Canada anyway?

Canada is like your attic...it's always up there, it has no heat, and you are always suprised what you find when you finally get up there!

I would have called the manager over and politely point out to them that it's poor customer relations for that employee to write "old guy" on the receipts.

That way, the person responsible would be in trouble and you wouldn't have to boycott PJ.

Who knows, maybe hubby would have gotten a free pizza.

and, the person who did that might have learned an imprtant lesson that his/her parents apparantly missed

I really love "seeing" WDW again with a different Grandkid each trip.  BUT my one iren clad rule is no one goes with Grandpa till fully potty trained!

And the bugs are awful back there in warm weather.  I got bit up bad by chiggers back there once. Really bad.

DW makes sure we all rub down with vinegar after a day in chigger (aka Redbug in MS) areas.  Seems to work, and the smell fades fast.

These things are not to be taken lightly, I understand, and sensible precautions are approriate...don't go in the water with open wounds, cook food properly, etc. 

Having said that, 11 people in Florida so far this year out of how many have been in the water at the Florida beaches?  And let's not even start with what happens in public swimming pools all over the country.

You could also fall off the couch and break your neck and die.  That does not mean I plan to stay off the couch, esp with NFL coming!

I get it, I really do.  We need to know and act approriately, but the news media like to make everything a panic situation.  Over more than 30 years in broadcasting, I have heard many times the comment "Never let the facts get in the way of a good standup report!" 

Seems to me that awareness needs to be accompanied with some common sense. 

Rules?  More like "guidlines" kinda.
