Outside the Imagination Pavilion in Epcot.
TCD
Very good! Figment is now merrily singing "I-maaaaaaaaaaaaa-gi-naaaaaaaa-tion" in my head. This sort of thing happens to me all of the time. Occupational hazard.

Okay, I had to upload a bunch more. These should last us awhile...
Here's an easy one to get us started again. Cool looking picture though!

Only beer survival guide I need for Disney is a bigger bank account and a ride home from my friendly neighborhood Disney bus driver.

Country Bears going in and out
Yes! I just can't bear to miss looking at the floors.

Well, now, again, how does the muffaletta measure up to the real deal in New Orleans?
Better than the beignets did anyway. At least a B- grade in the Thrill Shakespeare Culinary Rating Matrix tm.

Lane Kiffin was just fired as head coach of USC. Now, I do not like USC. I do not like Tennessee, Kiffin's previous stop. Yet even I have been appalled at what this man has done to two proud football programs. It's good to see him gone. College football is better for it.

Well done, Dawgs! I'm glad to be wrong!

Any table at WDW after Anna has sat at it.
:rofl3: My boys too.

Okay, I know this one is easy but I LOVE the detail and the simple storytelling of the theming.

back side of the barnstormer sign at MK
Yes, indeed! The picture was actually taken the week Barnstormer reopened. I love that the back of the sign looks like it was made out of the Wise Acres Farm sign from the previous version of the ride. I love when Disney gives nods to past attractions and theming.

Love following along Troll. One comment. You were at POFQ. Not POR. Dont want to confuse some poor readers. The food court at POR does not SMB. They do not have the beignets there but they do have a great variety of food.
Agreed. I think one of the reasons I was so unimpressed with Floatworks is because of how pleased I was with the Riverside Mill. And they do have a muffuletta if you need a taste of a New Orleans classic.

Awesome! Games at Bryant-Denny are an amazing experience.
-
Could there be more? Of course!
Bonus points if you know why this sign looks like this!

Dinosaur? For some reason the pipes hit me as familiar, like they have the chemical formula for ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise written on them?
Wow, you are on a serious roll. Dinosaur it is - near the loading area!

Really small slate of games for us this week. We are almost assured of all dropping this week's score. Still, I hope I rebound from last week. I made some upset picks that just missed. At least I wasn't completely out of my mind with the picks, but the results hurt.

This week's parlay/teaser:
Ohio State over Wisconsin
Alabama over Ole Miss (but closer than the experts think as Bama looks ahead to their huge matchup with Georgia State next week)
I kid.
LSU over Georgia in the slight upset (sorry Kelly)
Oklahoma over Notre Dame
I'm pretty much with you on these picks, but I have a strange feeling about Wisconsin. I think Ohio State is ripe for an upset. Not sure it's this week though.
Sadly, I also think LSU wins over Georgia. However, as a rabid Bama fan, I will be a huge Dawgs fan this weekend.
This is always a strange weekend for me. I have degrees from both Alabama and Ole Miss and loved my time at both of them. Alabama is closer to my heart being my undergrad institution, but I root on Ole Miss too. Well, every week except when they play the Tide. I think this week might be when Alabama finally puts all the pieces together, but I would not be surprised if the Rebels give them a tough game.

But wait...there's more!

Finding Nemo show at AK?
Boom! Carol for the win! I love how preoccupied the audience gets with seeing Nemo swim through those bubbles before the show begins.
-
No, not in Epcot.

Sorry the beignets SMB and you had a bad bus experience. We like the buses that's one reason we like staying on property. We go see yee haw bob, piano bob to some, almost every trip and always take the bus to DTD, grab a beer for the boat ride to POR. Easy as pie and no drinking and driving.
I do enjoy the boat ride from DTD to POR. It's an attraction in itself.

Don't get me wrong, though. If you deep-fry dough and cover it with powdered sugar I will probably eat it anyway.

My kids actually like that place because of the different kinds of food they have. And they think they are getting tons of food when it piled up like that. I'm hungry now.
Me too. I made the mistake of looking at the picture again. Mmmmmm...shwarma.

So, now, perhaps I should rehash. We had to endure an hour and a half torture session on the Disney buses to get here. We were starving, as we hadn't eaten any breakfast or lunch to save space (and calories) in our bellies for some delectable, fluffy, doughy beignets...and guess what?
Yeah, you guessed it.
The beignets sucked.
Tough. Chewy. Rubbery. Overcooked.
Fail.
To eat one, I had to pick it up, sink my back molars into it like a set of pliers, and then twist and turn it until a piece tore off.
Let me just put it simply, folks: Not recommended. The Troll gives the Port Orleans beignets a C-.
I mean, they weren't terrible. They were, after all, edible, and we were starving. But I wouldn't go out of my way to get them, folks. Don't waste your time or money.
Anyway, oh well.
Coming up next, the rain rolls in and Mrs. Troll and I hit Mr. Crockett's Magical Porch for the first time of this trip.
Not a fan of the Floatworks either. We stayed at Port Orleans - Riverside for our 10th anniversary a few years back. We had Tables in Wonderland which gave us a discount at the Floatworks because French Quarter does not have a table service restaurant. DramaMama and I thought we would eat a few meals over there, enjoy the discount, and enjoy the beignets.
Not so much.
One meal was all it took. My burger was okay - it was one of those Frankenstein fried shrimp, hamburger, and whatever else was in the kitchen combination things. The beignets were okay, certainly not up to New Orleans standards but edible. A C- grade sounds about right.
As far as the buses, I like them for direct resort-to-park or park-to-resort trips. Going resort to resort? No way. DramaMama and I had quite the adventure when we tried to go over to Boardwalk late to buy some pastries as a surprise birthday treat for my dad. I didn't think we were ever going to make it back to the Fort. I pondered sleeping out on the Boardwalk and giving the place a little "local color".
Where in the World??

Imagine yet another picture...
Sorry, it's a bit blurry. Just had to use it anyway.
