  1. This thread isn't helping my craving for Sushi. I'm getting so desperate, I was eyeing up sushi at the convenience store. Thankfully fear kicked in :)

Oh my! Don't touch that stuff! It's evil and usually quite gross!

Unless you're talking about a convenience store in Japan! I could live off of those! There was one around the corner from my grandmother's house (Family Mart) and my sister and I would go up there every morning after we woke up!

  2. We'll be camping in a tent the same week as y'all! I agree about the plastic underneath the tent. And also about the electric mattress pad. We also use an electric blanket - we stay warm and cozy in the tent! We run an extension cord into the tent for charging phones, to run the heater, and I keep the mattress pad and blanket on all night. When we were there last year in January, it did get pretty chilly at night. I was actually amazed at how much the space heater heated up the tent. We usually run it on high when we first get back to the tent and then turn it down after the tent warms up. I hope you have a great birthday and have fun camping!

  3. Yes! Another Disneyland report! I can't wait to hear what your daughter thought about the Nightmare overlay at Haunted Mansion - I don't see how anyone could possibly not enjoy it! And I hope you guys were able to meet Jack and Sally. It never worked out for us. Can't wait to hear the rest!

    Hmmm.

I don't recall us having Santa's helpers like this at the WDW parade:

    It's good to be Santa.

    LOL.

Next time, I want to fly home on a redeye, because then we could have some park time on that last day.

That worked out pretty good for us - we had an entire day at the parks before heading to the airport. We dropped our luggage at the front desk at Grand Californian and played all day. I think our shuttle picked us up around 8:00 pm. To be honest, I would have loved to go to bed that night instead of heading to the airport, but we did save money by not booking a room that night. You could totally do this because you obviously have much more energy than me. I don't know how you go all day, the way you do!

Thanks for taking the time to do this trip report. It feels like such a long time since we were out there. I'm dying to go back. I think every Disney fan should visit that park at least once!

  6. TCD when are you starting your TR ? If you don't start son i am sending a list of questions that I want to know if you did/saw/ate.

    Soon.

    Soon.

I've made two trips out to Disneyland, and am trying to figure out where to start.

I'll get it cranked up in the next day or two.

It's going to be a big one.

    TCD

Yes! I'm waiting for more Disneyland reporting! :D

  7. Thanks y'all, for following along. I fell in love with Disneyland and would love to go back. I was actually a little shocked at how small the castle was. I'm just so used to walking into the Magic Kingdom and seeing Cinderella castle, at the end of Main Street. I had to walk all the way down Main Street, at Disneyland, before I could take a picture. However, it is a lovely castle. :) I would also love to see the NBC overlay on our Haunted Mansion!

  8. LOL at the Tinkle Tower, at the Tangled bathrooms! I hate that your kids couldn't get their stuff back. It's a shame that someone may have possibly kept those items. We'll be at the Fort Jan. 30 - Feb. 6, in a full hookup also. We usually ask for 1700. We'll probably be the only tent on the loop!

  9. Neat photos.

Did y'all know there is an ad running in the Orlando area advertising WDW.  The film of the tea cups ride is from Disney Land.  Easy to tell, no roof!

That's funny. You have to wonder how that slipped past everyone before making it to the screen.
