Sorry I meant just for regular premium sites. Brains a little fried at this point. Pricing has not shown up for the Premium Meadow sites for any date I have checked.

I'm still blown away at the pricing that's coming out.  Honestly.... I just don't know that our family will ever be able to afford going inside the gates again.  Even just a basic 3 day ticket on UT for us to go this fall, is over $1300.  I mean, that's just crazy.  All that money, to fight the crowds.  Wow.

C'mon, what else is there to do but laugh....

I mean... will it ever stop?   Nope.  Not as long as folks keep coming and paying.  I've said it before, they're trying to cut back on crowds.  They want to reduce the crowds, but still bring in a ton of money.

I don't know.  We got priced out last year so.... go for it, Disney.

He highest price I see for a Premium site is at Christmas for $203 before tax. When things were glitching earlier I got a peak at the pricing calendar.

Ah... so this isn't the "new and improved" sites that have been rumored?  I thought I saw Santa post (on FB) about the 600 loop getting more expensive... so I thought they were doing improvements/upgrades.

I think I commented on that post. Stayed in a cabin for Thanksgiving 2 years ago, and it wasn't far off that. Unfortunately it's comparable to the other  6 person suites on property price wise.

My goodness... so expensive.  I guess it's for that once in a lifetime experience.  I don't know.    We stayed in one a long time ago (10 years) and I want to say we paid $120-$140/night.  We only stayed 2 nights because it was so expensive... but we did enjoy it.

System isnt working right yet today but for 2020 I am starting to see this as an option with no pricing currently.

    Premium Meadow Campsite

Proximity to Meadow Trading Post, Meadow Recreation Area, Bike Barn and Campfire Area

Are we taking bets?  I'm guessing... the "slow" season will be $225/night with topping out around $275/night.

I just saw someone comment on FB, that $480/night was a "deal" for a cabin rental.  Mercy... we haven't stayed at a resort in years, but $480/night is a "deal"?  I'm sorry, but that's just crazy.  No wonder 2 or 3 families try to smoosh in there.

I'm so nauseous at the possibility of this.   But... mom really wants to do it and how do I say "no" to celebrating their anniversary.   I don't, of course, but I may need to start drinking... or there might be videos of the family getting on the ship, except me:  still on the dock.  Yeah... I'm just not going to think about it.

I'll be honest, if I needed an RV spot and a trailer was taking it up, I would move it......  I have seen very few trailers wit a boot on a wheel, and  10 ft utility I can lift the front and move around.

Well, I'll be honest and say.... we have done that.  Had to park our huge girl in the overflow, while waiting for our site, and there were several utility trailers taking up RV spots.  We simply moved one a spot over, so it was sharing with another utility trailer.

On to Fantasyland. First order of business was to get fast passes for Matterhorn. The machines are a little tricky to find had to ask a CM. With that done we headed over for Alice in Wonderland ride. The wait said 30 min and it looked like it.My son did not want to wait my husband did. Final verdict was on me, we waited. We were there it's a cute ride and who knows if line will get longer. Out came more snacks and before long we were zooming right along. I saw that the Magical map show would be starting soon. We really wanted to see this. We start to walk over and my son sees the Storyland boats this he wants to ride I say we will be back. We don't have time. Sorry to say he never got to ride. It's a small world though had a five min wait this we do have time for. I really like that that they have Disney characters through out this ride. It's fun to look for them. After a small delay at the end of the ride we hightailed it to the show. Just in time it was just starting and plenty of open seats. This was a really cute show I'm glad we got to see it. Our fast pass time was almost here so we took a slow walk back to the Matterhorn. This is a fun ride but, it really throws you around. So, we needed another fast pass where should we go next? Well Frontierland of course for the wildest ride in the west.

Oh my gosh... hearing you talk about these ride (the Bobsleds, AIW, Storyland) brings back SO MANY memories!!  ❤️

Bummer on the sub smelling yuck.  I loved that ride growing up (wasn't the Nemo theme but still...).

Well it was quiet, but 2 of our 8 led tiki torches were stolen last night. I wish I could have caught that thieving f@#k and thumped his skull. 🖕

That stinks.  Saw a FB post where someone else had their solar tiki torches stolen as well.

I just don't understand taking something that is not yours.

Happy to hear that the property (overall) was calmer.  That's a nice change.

Hi everyone. I really hope to do a trip report. We are heading to the World Saturday for our youngest first trip and last big hurrah before a bunch of surgeries for him begin. We can only afford two days at the parks — FYI family of five base ticket for two days is $1300. And staying at a cheap off site hotel. But I have tons of stuff planned to get all the magic possible crammed in for free. Including our first fort visit!

    Have a great time!!

  11. Awesome report, thank you!!  LOVE all the pictures!

Very cool on the CMs with the tape and the water.  I would be embarrassing to watch... to say the least.  Haha

The "service animal"... yeah, not cool.

Yes, you know it's a busy day at the MK, if the PM has a line    That ride is seriously my favorite.  If Disney ever went back to ride tickets, it's the only one I would buy ❤️

    Thanks again for the report!!

Well we made it to Normandy Farms, a great campground, but not without incident. A bit of a rant but not so much this gets moved to the Debate forum. I don't understand how the high tax states can have such terrible roads. I-84 through New York wasn't much better than an unimproved cow path over a rocky wash. Add in the road debris, some of which took out one of our truck tires and the rear taillight, all over the place and I think if we ever have to drive it again I'll buy a Caterpillar bulldozer. To top it off the road side assistance guy for the bridge didn't show up until I was soaked and had changed the tire (not his fault but they could add some signs to let us foreigners know they have road side assistance truck). Now I feel better.

I do want to recommend Colonial Tire & Service in Plainville. They got me in right away this morning to swap the spare tire to the regular rim to get us going for touristy stuff. The new spare tire mounted on the spare rim was ready a couple of hours later. Their prices were fair as well.

Next up we try I-95 South.

Ugh... so sorry to read this.  I agree on the roads.  Some of this country, the roads are insane.  I would recommend that  no one EVER drive on I20 in Louisiana.  Pretty sure that's the section of the state, that broke our leaf spring weld last Spring.  Ridiculous.

Pray the rest of the trip is damage free!!

Tuesday we went thru a hellacious afternoon severe thunderstorm at the Fort. Straight line winds and pea/nickel size hail created some real anxious moments. At Lake Magic RV Resort in Clermont on Rt 192 a trailer was blown over with people inside. https://www.mynews13.com/fl/orlando/news/2019/05/14/strong-winds-overturn-occupied-rv-florida Fortunately all were rescued and safe. At the Fort there were tents down, awnings ripped off RV's, and numerous trees and large limbs down.

I saw some FB posts from the Fort.  Tom and I were commenting that the Fort is the only place where we leave our awning out/open (strapped down, but still left open), because we've never experienced any high winds there.  The pictures we saw were crazy!  So thankful that no one was seriously injured.

My trailer is my least favorite spot to be in during a thunderstorm especially when surrounded by trees.   I always look up before setting up to spot any dead trees or limbs and locate the  nearest solid structure in case of evacuation.

Same here.  If possible, we try to avoid spots that have branches hanging over our rig or leaning/dead trees in the area.

  14. It's been so long since I've been back to Disneyland.  Our family used to camp there too... but that was at a campground across the street from Disney that I think is now a parking garage.  Those were the days of the E ticket and then the card you wore on your wrist to go on a ride.  I've been back since then, but that trip was at the beginning of our marriage... 20 years ago.  We're saving up for a West Coast trip next year; I'm considering a stop at DL, but I'm not sure as it will only be one or two days.  It will be interesting to hear of your experience.  How were the lines?

Hotel or Motels... both give me the creeps anymore.  Too many germs... LOL

Enquiring minds want to know... any updates?

The rig is slated to go to IN, July 15th.  We'll be in KY at that time, so we've agreed to allow their transport to pick it up and deliver it.  I will completely empty out the rig and take a ton of pictures and video.  I've selected Monday the 15th (the 14th would actually work better for us), as this way they driver should be able to drop it off with Keystone...the same day.    I will pick up the rig in IN (staying the night at Keystone, so I can check this over).

I plan to call/email ever few days (once they've taken possession of our rig,) as I've heard horror stories of Keystone taking an insane amount of time to do repairs.  I've told them that I plan to be there, no later than, August 19th.    This gives them 5 weeks to make the repairs to the frame.  Heck, they could build us a entirely new one in just a few days, so 5 weeks to make a repair (I feel) is generous on my part.  So far, the people at Keystone have been very nice.  Praying that is stays that way and things go smoothly.
