  1. Thanks again everyone. I don't remember the class C by Pioneer hall and I didnt remember the cabin one until you mentioned it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Read page 2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Years ago I remember there being travel trailers by the sidewalk going from the buses to the Hoop Dee Doo. I noticed last week the decks and ramps are still there. Does anyone else remember this or have pics/details? The rest of my family thinks Im crazy when I brought this up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The touring plans site was the only one I could find that showed the actual sites. I can work on it down the road.
  5. I think they are showing the sidewalk, but in a few areas are drainage ditches too. I did not alter the maps, just put a top layer on with the information.
  6. I know there are a few ways to figure out what loop you want etc... but the three loops we stay in usually are 600, 1200, 1300. I wanted an overlay with the site number and sizes. I borrowed the map from Touringplans and used the Fort Fiends app for the site sizes. I thought if everything was on one page it might make it easier. At this point I would have to wait for a future trip to layout more loops, if anyone would have an interest in a similar map for the loops. Please let me know what you think, feedback is always great. Fort Wilderness 600 Loop M
  7. 1300 loop. 5mg down 1mg up speed test. The cable needs some help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Just got here loop 1300. Here until 28th. I unfortunately have a conference this week but my family will have fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. My parents stayed at the fort soon after it opened and we have back back at least annually and the last few years we go at least twice. Long drive from Ohio but worth it. I miss the train and the old wagon coach by the playground. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. in March, my parents will join us for spring break. Everyone uses their magic bands and charge back to the bill, so we will spend the last night of the trip trying to decide who owes what and it is guaranteed to be a great evening.
  11. I have had to unhook by myself before, I did it in the trailer parking lot up front, then took the bus from my loop back up to the parking lot to get the car. Just another option, a lot of times the parking lot give you more time and you dont feel as rushed.
  12. I just got back from the Fort, rented a cabin for a business trip. I have to say the billing at the Fort and all of WDW drives me crazy. I pay 100% of the bill for the room/tax etc... when I arrive, then they put all of the costs back on the bill when I check out and mix in all of the other charges. It takes 30 minutes to figure out what I spent while I was there, what I already paid for etc... I wish they would change the billing over to the way other hotels do it. Marriott for example will list the total room balance at the top and show it paid then start a zero sum from that point forw
  13. Just had dinner at new Skipper Canteen last night. Great location and good food. All items are made to order and can be modified if need be. The food is region specific to the jungle areas. They have recently added same day reservations which worked very well for us. The manager stated it gets busy around 6:30pm. Give it a try. It is nice to have another sit down restaurant in the Magic Kingdom that doesn't just serve chicken nuggets. Take a look around all three rooms when you are there, very cool story they are telling in each room. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I would love a snarky sticker Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. In 1302 as we speak. Live this site and this loop. If you get back by 1308 you can see the big pool area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Good news, the people who were causing loop havoc all checked out. The order in the loop has been restored. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. We are in 1300, might have replaced the speedway! Jk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. It is very busy, but that doesn't excuse people from following a fee simple rules. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. We are at the fort right now, this is the worst we seen with people going the wrong direction in the loops. Golf carts, cars, bicycles etc... We came around the corner to be head on with someone else. Also noted how many kids are driving golf carts and mini bikes etc... I am afraid if people keep breaking all of the rules then none of us will be permitted to bring our carts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I bought a 55 gallon drum of DEF , delivered for $140.00. Saves me quite a bit per gallon and I just fill it before we leave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. We just finished our latest project before leaving for the fort in 2 weeks. We made awning lights out of the bowling pin slushy cups from Splitsville. Couple years of collecting and a little ingenuity paid off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Its nice but to be fair we usually arrive late in the dark and leave early the next morning. Very friendly and easy to work with Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. We drive from Stow Ohio to WDW twice a year, and fly two other times. I have also gone at least once a year since 1974, so there are two Stow Disney Fiends. We try to leave Stow around 6:00am and we drive to the KOA in Kingsland Georgia, it takes about all day, but it is the last exit in Georgia on 95. Then we have 3 1/2 hours the next morning to Disney. Sometimes we leave in the afternoon after School and stay in Wytheville, VA and then drive the rest of the way the next day. On the way home we drive from Disney to Mayberry Campground in Mt. Airy, NC. Good luck and maybe we will run
