Welcome to the Forest River Club. That's a really cool layout. As the kids get a bit older we plan on looking into something similar.
Congrats.

Good point. ^

Edited.. I've rented on multiple occasions and the process is pretty easy. PM if you have any questions.

Just booked this place for 3 nights on the way back from the Fort in June. Looks great!

Great vids and pics. Looks like ya'll had a blast. I wish we could convince our girls to go on either of those raft rides.

When the kids were younger and we brought the double stroller, we would push it to within an inch of those doors with the girls facing out, not strapped in.. This is pretty scary.

Using a laptop and browser also not seeing the pics in the post "Here's a couple I happen to have handy....walking our girl down the aisle, and one of our 5 girls at the house before the wedding."
Also not seeing second pic in above post. Beauty of a first shot though.

Great pics and awesome report so far. The dog people are strange, really strange.
Anywho.. I'm definitely not going to search Amazon for a Captain's uniform for our dachsund. Nope, not doing that. :)

We think that, when we go to Myrtle Beach. Most of the time, it is super windy...but I guess that comes with being so close to the beach. But, I will say that I don't remember a ton of sand getting into the rig. Some, yes, but not an overwhelming amount... whereas those who I know (who have camped at Camp Gulf), that's their main complaint.
When we've been there, every thing south of the pond was covered in sand. You could not avoid it. The closer you got to the beach, the worse it got. The spots near the pool and north are pretty sand free.

Great pics. Following along.

Camp Gulf has direct beach access, Emerald Coast RV does not however... I think Emerald Coast is cheaper and (I'm betting) the grounds are nicer.
Camp Gulf is I think the most expensive place we've ever "Camped." Fort is a close 2nd. The grounds sure look nicer from the online pics. Probably less sand in the RV too.

We currently have plans to be at Gulf State Park the first week of June, but now the kids are bugging me to do a split with Camp Gulf. We really enjoyed our pre-Fort stay there last March. Was looking at other options in the area. Just checked out Emerald Coast's website. Looks really nice.

Looks great and will be following along.

WDW does not have a right to enter someones personal RV. They do have, however have the right to ask. They also have right to ask any guest to leave their property.
What each of us does with this new information is up to the individual. I take personal responsibility for maintaining the safety of my family and will continue to do so.

Sounds really nice. Will have to check out

Last trip, when checking in, I got no indication they had seen my fax request. We ended up having a choice of sites and picked 625 (I think). Huge site. It was approximately 80' front to back.

Check Essex Bank. They are affiliated with Bank of the West - which is a major dealer lender. Check the online rate sheets for your local credit unions as well. They will list available terms. With dealers, $25k and over can get you 180 mos. Wonderful credit will get you 4.74 - 6.25 depending on how much your finance guy marks up the rate. Loans under $25k max out at 12 years.

This is awesome

Just looked online (my reservations and early checkin page) and sure enough, 3:00pm is listed as the checkin time.

Pro Pride seemed more difficult to install back when I was researched, but I may have that backwards. Do they still make the drawtite? It was another hitch that eliminated sway but was only made for select vehicles.

We are headed down in early June for 5 nights. I believe it's around $1600 for the four of us for tickets. Pretty confident we won't be purchasing, as it just doesn't seem worth it. Plan on doing some resort hopping and have scheduled a few ADRs. Wife and I still have APs for Universal, so will probably spend a day there. The rest of the time we'll be at the Fort.
