From the Disney Food Blog...

Today is National Love a Tree Day! In its honor, here’s an aerial look at the tree farm at Walt Disney World Resort back in August 1969, and again in February 1981.

While there are many trees across Walt Disney World Resort, one in particular stands out in my mind: The Tree of Life, the perfect icon for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Head outside and show your favorite tree some love. I’ve already hugged about 15, thanking them for the shade they provide on those warm Florida summer days ahead.

I think ole Nate, the Disney Parks blogger, and the Disney Food Blog should stick to what they know best, which btw, isn't tree farms.

I believe I know where that tree farm is, or was. If I'm right, it's a dust bowl and no longer a tree farm to say the least. It's not an area that Disney would like to show off, environmentally speaking.

I don't think a tree made of concrete and plastic portrays the message National Love a Tree Day wants to make.
