MK with empty waterways

Recommended Posts

I was looking around on Bing maps over the MK and noticed the waterways were empty. I never heard anyone talk about this and was just wondering If  anyone actually saw this first hand. I'll post some screen caps below

On bing these pictures were from the same overhead look. I just rotated 90 deg. and got the shot with water.  I don't know the year but the shot with water is during Christmas season. the Christmas tree is up and the garland across Main street.  I rotate the views on Bing and Google often and see different seasons. Looking at my sisters house one view is summer one is fall and one has snow on the ground. Just wondering if anyone saw the empty waterways.

The waterways are drained regularly to clear the hair clogs. At least that's what we do at my house.

I can't remember when it was, but I remember the area right around the castle being dry while they refurbed some of the lower fiberglass "stone" on Cindy's place.  It was really strange looking...

That was a failed attempt to make MK more extreme by turning the waterways into a skate park.

Seriously, I do seem to remember being there many years ago when at least part of the waterway was drained for the rock formations to be built in front of Tomorrowland.
