jjbescher 17
Update Time!Sunday 12/22/2013Today is a Hollywood Studios day. We had plans for Lunch at Brown Derby, FP+ for ToT, Toy Story Mania and I had one for Rock and Roller Coaster, while DW and DD went to Disney Junior. Since we already has Lunch reservations and FP+, we decided to take it easy in the morning. What happens when you are looping at night on the GC and your DD sees every other Golf Cart decorated and yours not? Answer, your DW and DD head to the Dollar Store to get some decorations for the GC. When they came back, that is what we did until it was time to head out to Hollywood Studios. Yesterday we actually went to the park without a stroller for the first time. We decided to try it again today. We took the bus over to the park. The first thing we did was have lunch at Brown Derby. My DD and I Love the Cobb Salad and it is a little cheaper at Lunch, at least it was. I have not gone to Dinner there in a while, so I really do not know anymore. A couple pictures around the restaurant: We were seated on the bottom level in one of those booths. Pood Forn – Cobb Salad, I already started eating it before I remembered to get a picture. What 4 year old does not like Jake Then we had some time to waste before our Toy Story Mania FP+, so we decided to walk around. It turns out we had a chance to get a picture withSanta Goofy. Lightning McQueen and Tow MaterAfter Toy Story Mania (No Pictures), we headed over to Tower of Terror. My DW will not ride it with me, but this would be my DD’s 2nd time riding. She Likes the elevator part going up and down, but not the rest of it. Picture from the Memory Maker – We are directly in the middle in the back. Then it looks like I did RnR while they did Disney Junior We were planning on eating at Bill’s Dockside Diner, but it seems to close early. So it was popcorn in an R2D2 container to tide us over till we got back to the camper.I am either drunk or tired in the picture above, but since I did not have anything alcoholic to drink that day, it must have been tired. We stayed to quickly see the Osborne Lights, pictures are not so great, I must have had the camera. One with a service dog in the picture
jjbescher 17
Sunday Continued We are now back at the campsite. Tried to take some pictures of my campsite since I did not the night before. And the cart back at the campsite all decorated Our Christmas Tree at night Had to turn on the flash because I was not steady enough to take it without the flash. Without the Flash Looks like we got back to the fort fairly early, so we decided to loop around. We ended up around the Settlement area. Fort Tree This is a picture of Brady, the horse that took us around on the Holiday Sled Ride. Family pictures on Sled Ride Picture with Brady in the backgroundAlthough we had a golf cart and were able to see all of these decorations, our guide tried to take us around some loops that we had not been down yet. Turns out Brady is one of the largest horses that they have at Walt Disney World is one of the horses that is used for the Headless Horsemen during Halloween. The cost was around $65, plus tip. I do not get to spend as family time at home as I would like, so it was definitely worth it to be able to just sit, relax and look at some of the awesome fort decorations. After the Sled Ride, we looped a little more and then headed back to our site.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Jake is king among the 4 year old set. I'm pretty sure Z would watch that show for 24 hours straight if I let him. And the character at the park is always great interacting with young kids. Good job decorating the cart. I love the Fort tree. The sleigh ride looks great! What a cool way to see the decorations. Sheriff Callie is starting to be a big show for my DD. She likes Sofia, but I just do not get the show. If she is married into the family, why does she need an amulet to still be a princess. That show just bothers me.

jjbescher 17
December 23rd Continued…Since Art of Animation opened, I had wanted to go and see it. I definitely wanted to see the Cars section since I had seen so many awesome pictures of it. I also wanted to try to eat the Food Court. The Food Court was busy, however I found the smoothie section and got a smoothie right away. Then it was time to decide on what to get for Dinner.I ended going with a burger and got my food quickly. My DW decided on the Make Your Own Pasta and that line seemed to take forever. DD got pizza. The food was good and I will there again when I go in August and stay there for a few nights before I go to Bay Lake Tower for a week.We then got to see Cars Land. I did not tell my DD this so when she first saw the cars she was very excited. That is enough pictures of the Cars. She was in some weird mood to have her arms or legs up in every picture. She was having a good time, so I really did not care.We take the monorail, go to the Polynesian and Grand Floridian to get some Gingerbread and see the house in the next update. jjbescher 17
December 23rd ContinuedSo after Dinner we decided to go to the Grand Floridian to get Gingerbread. Since we drove, we decided to stop at the Polynesian and take the Monorail over since my DD wanted to take the Monorail all trip.We mainly went into the Polynesian to make sure that DD could ride the Monorail. We were very surprised to see Lilo and Stitch and NO line. The Grand Floridian is so beautiful. At Christmas time and the Christmas Tree it was awesome. DD in front of the Gingerbread House We went to buy some Gingerbread, which was very good. We also walked into Basin so my DD could try some of the soaps and ended up getting a tube of Bath Salts. This is it for Monday. Tuesday was a busy day and ended with the Candlelight Processional, a first for all of us.

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Whoa, you are cranking out the updates! I'm glad that you're finishing the report. That's awesome that you ran into Lilo and Stitch at the Polynesian. I know that they have special character meet and greets at the resorts for the holidays. I didn't know they had them on the 23rd. So, are you heading back to the Fort this week? Or another resort? TCD

jjbescher 17
Moving right along. It seems we did not do much on Christmas Eve morning. I think we spent the day at the fort and then headed Epcot in the afternoon. The girls went to Turtle Talk and I went to Mission Space. We then did Soaring and were going to the Seas with Nemo ride, however it turns out it was closed. We got an email from FP+ system that said we could go to an ride and go on it. They chose to go on Spaceship Earth. I was not expecting that to work, but they went right up to the FP+ line, scanned their magic bands and went right in. We had a very early Dinner because we were doing the Candlelight Processional. So after Spaceship Earth we had some time to kill. My DD wanted to go visit Belle. So While waiting in line for Belle, we went and picked out a Parasol for her. She had wanted one since our last trip. So after Belle it was Dinner time. We went to Biergarten. It is one of my favorite restaurants at Disney World. I love German food, well I Love all food. The last time I went, I got the Liter of Beer and could not finish it. I felt horrible. So I had to try again. I would like to say I was successful this time. My DD up while he was telling some Christmas stories. After Dinner it was time for the Candlelight Processional. I am not a very religious person. I went a private Catholic High School, but that was because it was a very good High School. Got married in a Catholic Church, but I had to guarantee that I would raise any kids I had in the Catholic Church. With all that said, the Candlelight Processional was awesome. Even though we had a pole in our way. Even with the Dinner Package, you need to get in line Very early if you want better seats. The singers were great and the speaker was very good. Would I do it again? Probably, because I would be able to eat at Biergarten again. We had preferred seating for Illuminations, but we had early plans for Christmas morning, so we decided to head back to the fort and get some rest.
DaveInTN 3,247
I'm glad you returned to your report yesterday....somehow I missed your March updates. And you can never have enough giant beer pictures.
jjbescher 17
ChristmasThere are probably going to be many updates on the one. We got up at 6:00 to start opening up presents.Normally you do not need to wake up kids on Christmas Morning. Well, not my kid. I am normally the one waiting to get the day started and I am not allowed to wake up the DD. However, this year was an exception. We had a LONG day ahead of us.Santa does come to the fort and even without a chimney, somehow made it into the camper. Photobombed by Scamp - In the black bag was a Cinderella Dress, with a note in it about Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boutique. Stockings – Notice the HUGE Stocking for DD and the small ones for Daddy and Mommy The initial wakeup of the DD, notice the photobomb from Jewel. It seems the dogs wanted to make sure they were mentioned in this trip report. The opening up of the letter from Santa telling her about Cinderella’s Royal table, you can see she is starting to wake up as she realizes what is going on. This one was photobombed by Daisy. So all three dogs got into the pictures on Christmas Day.Here DD is in the middle of opening her final gift of the morning, we will come back to the camper and open up the rest after hit the Magic Kingdom for Rides, Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boutique and Cinderella’s Royal Table. We used the gifts in the morning to tell her about BBB and CRT. This gift was a Vanity Table, picture fail - I do not know how I did not get a picture of it. I will end this update here. Next update BBB and CRT.
jjbescher 17
Christmas Day continuedAfter opening up the few gifts we all got ready to head to the Magic Kingdom. We drove the cart and we were expecting more people getting ready to head to the Magic Kingdom. We were wrong, we were the first cart to Golf Cart Area and we got the first boat to the Magic Kingdom. We walked onto many rides in the morning. We had our FP+ set up for after breakfast. We were able ride a lot of rides in the morning before her appointment to BBB. While waiting for BBB We had an 8:40 appointment at BBB and a 9:35 appointment at CRT. This meant that we had just enough time to get her hair and nails done and then walk across the hall to CRT without having to waste time and worry about getting dirty before meeting Cinderella and the other princesses for Breakfast. It would be an understatement to say that she Loved BBB. At the end of the trip we headed to World of Disney to get some stuff that she wanted with some of the money that she saved up from Birthdays and she had a tons of things picked out. My DW asked her if she wanted to go to BBB again, she saw it in World of Disney. Well, my DW told her that she would need to put away some of the things so that she could pay for it. Expecting her to say not to worry about it and keep all the toys, she started walking around the store to put everything back. We had to tell her that she did not have to put everything back, just some of it. For a 4 year old to be willing to put everything back just to get her hair and nails done means a lot. Now time for pictures, there are a lot of them. I will try to limit them. Getting Nails doneMakeup onHair Spray and GlitterDoneThat smile was worth the money and time it took. The Fairy Godmother in Training was awesome I think I am close to my limit on photos, so CRT will have to be in the next update. Tri-Circle-D 2,059
OK- you need to spill the beans and explain how you were able to score so many great ADR's during a busy holiday time. Were you up at midnight on the 180th day? TCD
jjbescher 17
Christmas Day – Continued and it is only 9:30 in the morning on Christmas and already on the third update. We are about to have Breakfast. This is the second thing of the day that I said I was never going to do. The first was BBB. Thought it was too expensive and not worth the money, why would any parent waste the money on something like that. Well, I will admit when I am wrong. Although it is fairly expensive, when looking at other salons and things we could have done with her for the money, it is right in line. They also give her the nail polish and the makeup kit. The makeup kit lasted till just about a month ago and the nail polish I think she still has and uses it. If you do not buy the dress at BBB and bring your own, it becomes a lot cheaper. The dresses are either $64.95 or $69.95. They are ALL the same price no matter which one you pick. Since Santa brought her a Cinderella Dress it was a lot cheaper. The second thing is Cinderella’s Royal Table. Eating in the castle never was something I wanted to do and my DD did not know about it. However, after realizing I was able to BBB and CRT on Christmas Day, it was a must do. When was I going to be able to see my Daughter all dressed up like a princess and then meet Cinderella in her Formal Gown. The princesses are everything to this girl and I wanted to give her a magical Christmas Day. It was hard enough on her that she would not see her cousins, Grandparents and one of her Aunts, but she was in Disney with her Parents and Dogs and Santa found the camper. Now onto meeting Cinderella Menu DW and DDDIT beware, Snow WhiteAurora JasmineArielA couple pictures of the castle Getting a kiss from PrincessWe ended up seeing Aurora and Cinderella at Fairytale Princess Hall, but we already have enough of those pictures. Here we are on our way back to the FortIt looks like we are done with the Magic Kingdom. As we were leaving Hoards of people were arriving to the Magic Kingdom. We decided it was time to go back and see the dogs along with open up the rest of the gifts. If you saw the pile a few posts back, it was going to take a while. I was able very glad to not move the gifts again. We will pick that up in the next update.
