Let's face it....we're all just jealous because a cat has figured out the whole social media thing better than any of us .

Pretty much!

But Devores has a point.  The problem is that Disney has decided that "media" basically means "anyone that will give us a bunch of free advertising" - no credentials of any kind required other than the ability to tweet and upload photos.

I wonder where the cutoff is... or will be.  I mean, there are Disney blogs and fan sites up the wazoo (present company included)... at what point do they start drawing a line for who counts as "media" and who doesn't?

Or do you just have to show that you have enough fans/likes to create enough free advertising?

And there's the rub.

Exactly.

Which is why I am thinking that we need an angle.  We need to create a character that will take social media by storm.  We need something people will latch onto, laughing and retweeting photos to everyone they know.  Grumpy cat worked well, so maybe something else with a grumpy theme.  Hmmm, if only we had somebody around here who was grumpy all the time, and was at WDW all the time too for photo ops.  Someone who takes crankiness to a whole new hilarious level.

Is #GrumpyBusDriver a thing?
